Hello everyone! I hope you are feeling great and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing with you my digital illustration on Female Forest Healer from Holozing. It's been a while since my last post, as I had classes, but I will try to be a bit more active on the blog and organize my time better.
¡Hola a todos! Espero que se encuentren muy bien y sean bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy les comparto mi ilustración digital sobre Female Forest Healer de Holozing. Ha pasado un tiempo desde mi última publicación, ya que tenía clases, pero intentaré estar un poco más activo en el blog y organizar mejor mi tiempo.
Start / Inicio
I started by making the basic structure of the character's body using a red color. This color choice allowed me to clearly differentiate the structure of the sketch that I will do next.
After establishing the base structure, I proceeded with the sketch using a blue color. During this stage, I focused on adding all the characteristic features of the character.
Comencé haciendo la estructura básica del cuerpo del personaje utilizando un color rojo. Esta elección de color me permitió diferenciar claramente la estructura del boceto que haré a continuación.
Después de establecer la estructura base, procedí con el boceto utilizando un color azul. Durante esta etapa, me centré en añadir todos los rasgos característicos del personaje.
Once the sketch was finished, I proceeded to give it more definition by means of LineArt or outlining. I used a black color to outline the contours of the character, highlighting each of its features and details.
Una vez finalizado el boceto, procedí a darle mayor definición mediante el LineArt o delineado. Utilicé un color negro para delinear los contornos del personaje, resaltando cada uno de sus rasgos y detalles.
After finishing the LineArt, I decided to add an additional layer of a base gray color to the whole illustration. This layer will serve as a base to later add lights and shadows, giving more depth and realism to the image.
Después de finalizar el LineArt, decidí agregar una capa adicional de un color gris base a toda la ilustración. Esta capa servirá como base para posteriormente agregar luces y sombras, brindando más profundidad y realismo a la imagen.
After applying the base layer to the illustration, I proceeded to add shadows to the character using a shade of gray slightly darker than the base gray.
After establishing the initial shadows, I decided to further increase the contrast and depth by using a darker shade of gray than the previous one. This allowed me to add more pronounced shadows in certain areas of the character.
Después de aplicar la capa base a la ilustración, procedí a agregar sombras al personaje utilizando un tono de gris ligeramente más oscuro que el gris base.
Después de establecer las sombras iniciales, decidió aumentar aún más el contraste y la profundidad utilizando un tono de gris más oscuro que el anterior. Esto me permitió añadir sombras más marcadas en determinadas áreas del personaje.
Once the shadows are finished, it's time to add lights and details to the character.
To start, I chose a lighter shade of gray than the base color and the shadows previously applied. Using this tone, I started to add soft lights in the areas where the light hits directly on the character.
Una vez finalizadas las sombras, es el momento de añadir luces y detalles al personaje.
Para comenzar, elegí un tono de gris más claro que el color base y las sombras aplicadas previamente. Usando este tono, comencé a agregar luces suaves en las zonas donde la luz incide directamente sobre el personaje.
After completing the shading process, the LineArt and all the other details, it was time to fully color the character. This step is important, as it transforms the illustration from gray tones into an image full of life and color.
Después de completar el proceso de sombreado, el LineArt y todos los demás detalles, llegó el momento de colorear completamente el personaje. Este paso es importante, ya que transforma la ilustración de tonos grises en una imagen llena de vida y color.
After adding all the color to the drawing, it was time to color the eyes. To create striking and expressive eyes, I started by shading the iris with a darker shade of green than the base color. Next, I did the pupil with an even darker green. Finally, I added sparkles to the iris using a white color with low opacity to give it a more realistic and shiny look. As seen in the image below
Después de añadir todo el color al dibujo, llegó el momento de colorear los ojos. Para crear unos ojos llamativos y expresivos, comencé a sombrear el iris con un tono de verde más oscuro que el color base. Luego, hice la pupila con un verde aún más oscuro. Finalmente, agregué brillos al iris utilizando un color blanco con baja opacidad para darle un aspecto más realista y brillante. Como se ve en la imagen a continuación
And as a last step, I used different shades of green to create a background to complement the character's image.
Y como último paso, utilicé diferentes tonalidades de verdes para crear un fondo que complementara la imagen del personaje.

The drawing was made by me, on my computer with a graphic tablet using Clip Studio Paint.
