This time I bring you something a little different, because, although it is not my first time drawing in digital format, the truth is that for some time I did not do it for lack of a suitable device for it. But it was time to stop making excuses, because you can also draw on a smartphone, no matter if it is more complex or takes longer.

En esta ocasión les traigo algo un poco distinto, ya que, si bien no es mi primera vez dibujando en formato digital, lo cierto es que desde hace tiempo no lo hacía por falta de un dispositivo adecuado para ello. Pero era hora de dejar de poner excusas, pues en un smartphone también se puede dibujar, no importa si es más complejo o demoro más.
So today I want to share with you a digital fan art inspired by the Forest Healer. As the title indicates, the healer is on vacation in the mountains and has decided to spend a pleasant afternoon observing the landscape from the balcony of her cabin, dressed in light clothes, without her usual combat uniform and accessories. In this scene you can appreciate an enormous peace and tranquility.
Es así que el día de hoy les quiero compartir un fan art digital inspirado en la Sanadora del Bosque. Como bien indica el título, la sanadora está de vacaciones en las montañas y ha decidido pasar una tarde agradable observando el paisaje desde el balcón de su cabaña, vestida con ropas ligeras, sin su uniforme de combate ni accesorios de siempre. En esta escena podrán apreciar una enorme paz y tranquilidad.
Step by step // Paso a paso
I started with the concept sketch, which will serve as a guide. My idea was to put a girl in the center of the image, sitting on a wooden chair with a beautiful landscape with mountains in the background. That's why when I started with the line art the first thing I drew was the silhouette of the sorceress, including her hair and clothes. In all the line art I used the Ink Pen brush and I didn't realize to change it, since I usually use it only for the hair.
Empecé por el boceto conceptual, el cual me servirá como guía. Mi idea era poner a una chica en el centro de la imagen, sentada sobre una silla de madera con un hermoso paisaje con montañas en el fondo. Es por ello que cuando comencé con el line art lo primero que dibujé fue la silueta de la hechicera, incluyendo su cabello y la ropa. En todo el line art utilicé el pincel Pluma Tinta y no me di cuenta de cambiarlo, ya que normalmente lo utilizo solo para el cabello.

I continued working on the healer's design to add more details to the hair, draw her face and finish the clothes and accessories. Once the character was ready, I added a background consisting of a lake at the bottom, surrounded by mountains. Below the healer, I drew a wooden chair and on her right side the wooden railing of the balcony. For the background, I did use a different brush called G Pen, which allows full strokes with the same width.
Continué trabajando en el diseño de la sanadora para así agregarle más detalles al cabello, dibujar su rostro y terminar la ropa y los accesorios. Una vez estuvo listo el personaje, agregué un fondo que consistía en un lago en la parte baja, rodeado de montañas. Debajo de la sanadora, dibujé una silla de madera y a su lado derecho la baranda de madera del balcón. Para el fondo, sí utilicé un pincel distinto llamado Pluma G, el cual permite hacer trazos completos con la misma anchura.

When I finished the line art, I started to color the drawing, starting with the healer's hair. The green color I chose is not exactly the same as the original design, since the shadows will change the tone. After the hair and the bow, I color the skin, eyes and the dress. Next, I move on to the chair and the vegetation behind the character, leaving the lake and the mountains for the end. These last elements I drew in blue and a variation of shades of grass green and blue-gray.
Cuando terminé el line art, empecé a dar color al dibujo, comenzando por el cabello de la sanadora. El color verde que elegí no es exactamente el mismo que el del diseño original, ya que las sombras le cambiarán el tono. Luego del cabello y el lazo, doy color a la piel, ojos y el vestido. A continuación, paso a la silla y la vegetación que tiene el personaje detrás, dejando para el final el lago y las montañas. Estos últimos elementos los dibujé de azul y una variación de tonos de verde pasto y gris azulado.

With all the colors applied, I will give a little brightness to the drawing from left to right and diagonally, and then apply shadows on the opposite side. This is how little by little the drawing starts to come to life and acquires a much nicer aspect.
Con todos los colores aplicados, paso a dar un poco de brillo al dibujo de izquierda a derecha y diagonalmente, para luego aplicar sombras en el lado opuesto. Es así que poco a poco el dibujo comienza a cobrar vida y adquiere un aspecto mucho más lindo.

Finally, I use a function of my phone to accentuate the colors of the drawing and give it a more vivid finish, as I show you below. I hope you like it.
