Hello everyone. Once again I'm here to share with you another one of my drawings. This time I wanted to make a female version of Noxic, which is one of the creatures of the game Holozing. To make the drawing I was inspired by the concept of the Barbie Butterfly movies, in which the characters are small fairies with beautiful butterfly wings.
In my work I have respected each of the colors of the original design, although I have changed a little the design and distribution of the wings. This female version I wanted to make it a little different and on the face I drew a wicked expression with a mocking laugh, or at least that's what in my mind I thought I was doing. 😅
Hola a todos. Una vez más paso por acá para compartirles otro de mis dibujos. En esta ocasión quise hacer una versión femenina de Noxic, la cual es una de las criaturas del juego Holozing. Para realizar el dibujo me inspiré en el concepto de las películas de Barbie Mariposa, en las cuales los personajes son hadas de pequeño tamaño con hermosas alas de mariposa.
En mi obra he respetado cada uno de los colores del diseño original, aunque he cambiado un poco el diseño y distribución de las alas. Esta versión femenina la quise hacer un poco distinta y en el rostro dibujé una expresión malvada con una risa burlona, o al menos eso fue lo que en mi mente creía que estaba haciendo. 😅
I kept the costume design simple, as well as the ornaments, highlighting only the side skirt flights, which I drew in such a way that it looked like it was made with petals of different flowers. Once I finished the drawing, I used an artificial intelligence tool to turn my colored pencil strokes into digital art. As usual, I love it and am amazed at the finish it gives.
El diseño del vestuario lo hice simple, al igual que los adornos, destacando solamente los vuelos de la falda lateral, los cuales dibujé de manera tal que pareciera hecho con pétalos de distintas flores. Una vez terminé el dibujo, utilicé una herramienta de inteligencia artificial para convertir los trazos de mis lápices de colores en arte digital. Como de costumbre, me encanta y me asombra el acabado que le da.
Step by step // Paso a paso
I started drawing the girl's body with no more details than some lines in the hair. Then I added the wings and part of the costume which is made up of a bodysuit and a semi skirt.
Comencé dibujando el cuerpo de la chica sin más detalles que algunas líneas en el cabello. Luego agregué las alas y parte del vestuario que está conformado por un traje body y una semi falda.

Next I added the wing design along with the clothing embellishments and the forehead and neck accessories. Once I was happy with the design, I started going over each line with a black ink pen and this is when disaster struck.
Unlike digital art, in traditional drawings a mistake can make you repeat everything and this was my case, because when I started inking the face I made a mistake with the shape of the eyes and the result was this weird sh**t that looks anything but an evil look 😂.
A continuación añadí el diseño de las alas junto con los adornos de la ropa y los accesorios de la frente y el cuello. Una vez estuve conforme con el diseño, empecé a repasar cada línea con un bolígrafo de tinta negra y aquí fue cuando ocurrió el desastre.
A diferencia del arte digital, en los dibujos tradicionales un error te puede hacer repetirlo todo y este fue mi caso, pues cuando empecé a entintar el rostro me equivoqué con la forma de los ojos y el resultado fue esta mier**da rara que parece de todo menos una mirada malvada 😂.

After erasing the slate strokes, I started to give a dark carmine color to all the edges of the wings. Then I painted the top of the blades using an orange for the center part, light green for the middle part and magenta for the outside, also giving a bright red to the dots.
Luego de borrar los trazos de la pizarra, empecé a darle un color carmín oscuro a todos los bordes de las alas. Luego pinté la parte superior de las palas utilizando un naranja para la parte central, verde claro para la parte del medio y magenta para el exterior, dando también un rojo brillante a los puntos.

I continued giving color to the wings, but on the lower part, instead of just orange, use yellow for the lower sections as well. Then, from the wings, give a light peach to the entire skin area and a mix of grass green colors to the hair.
Continué dando color a las alas, pero en la parte inferior, en vez de solo anaranjado, emplea también amarillo para las secciones más bajas. Luego, de las alas, da un durazno claro a toda la zona de la piel y una mezcla de colores verdes pasto al cabello.

The outfit was left for the end, which I painted black with gold decorations and I gave the semi-skirt three variations of pieces in scale so that petals would appear. At the end I drew a faint shadow on the floor and the drawing was ready.
Para el final quedó el atuendo, el cual pinté de negro con decoraciones doradas y a la semi-falda le di tres variaciones de trozos en escala para que aparecieran pétalos. Al final dibujé una sombra tenue en el piso y ya quedaría listo el dibujo.

Now it would be the turn of Artist AI to work its magic. I load the image of the finished drawing into the application and, after selecting the Manga filter, I get this beauty of digital art. I know I sound like a broken record, but I never cease to be amazed at the wonders that come from using this tool.
Ahora sería el turno de Artist AI de hacer su magia. Cargo la imagen del dibujo terminado en la aplicación y, luego de seleccionar el filtro de Manga, obtengo esta belleza de arte digital. Sé que sueno como un disco rayado, pero no dejo de asombrarme con las maravillas que se obtienen al usar esta herramienta.
