Hello dear friends of Holozing, I wish you many blessings and that you are all doing well. I had been going for days without having an interesting idea to capture in a drawing, and looking for inspiration a new idea suddenly came to my head. I was going through my very old collection of Basketball cards, which I used to collect with great excitement, and it occurred to me to do something similar with a Holozing character. The idea was to make a kind of card like those, of course, with many differences, so I had the idea of making a card with wood and mixed materials. The character I chose to make was Glaciox, to which I made some modifications, the process was very fun and simple and here I show you how I did it and the materials I used, don't miss the step by step I made for you. Hola queridos amigos de Holozing, les deseo muchas bendiciones y que todos se encuentren muy bien. Tenías dias sin tener una idea interesante que plasmar en algún dibujo, y buscando inspiración me vino de pronto a la cabeza una nueva idea. Estaba revisando mi colección muy antigua de tarjetas de Basketball, que solía coleccionar con mucha emoción, y se me ocurrió hacer algo parecido con algún personaje de Holozing. La idea era hacer una especie de tarjeta como esas, claro, con muchísimas diferencias, así que tuve la idea de hacer una tarjeta con madera y materiales mezclados. El personaje que tomé para hacer fue Glaciox, al cual le hice algunas modificaciones, el proceso fue muy divertido y sencillo y aquí les muestro como lo hice y los materiales que usé, no se pierdan el paso a paso que he realizado para ustedes. To make the card I used a scrap of wood which measures 7 centimeters wide by 11 centimeters long. I sanded the wood until it was clean and polished and then applied two layers of protective varnish to highlight the color of the wood. Finally, with a very fine-tipped marker I sketched my Glaciox design.
Para hacer la tarjeta utilicé un retazo de madera el cual mide 7 centímetros de ancho por 11 centímetros de largo. Lijé la madera hasta dejarla limpia y pulida para luego colocar dos capas de barniz protector y resaltar el color de la madera. Por último, con un marcador de punta muy fina hice el boceto de mi diseño de Glaciox.

After having everything ready I started painting our friend Glaciox, I used acrylic paint, which is a bit brighter and also dries very quickly. I used a mix of blue colors to create a contrast throughout the figure.
Luego de tener todo listo comencé a pintar a nuestro amigo Glaciox, utilicé pintura acrílica, la cual es un poco más brillante y también seca muy rápido. Utilicé una mezcla de colores azules para hacer un contraste en toda la figura.

Next I continued painting and adding more contrast by adding more blue colors. In this slightly more evolved design I have turned his arms into dragon wings, it seems more imposing to me. Then I added black lines on the edges of the drawing to finish giving it shape.
Seguidamente sigo pintando y agregando más contraste al agregar más colores azules. En este diseño un poco más evolucionado he convertido sus brazos en alas de dragón, se me hace más imponente. Luego fui agregando lineas de color negro en los bordes del dibujo para terminar de darle forma.

Then comes the part that I liked the most to do, and it is the frame for the card. I based it on the designs that have been shared in previous posts. I took the frame that is used for creatures, in this case the one that symbolizes the diamond. To make this frame I used aluminum beer cans, I selected the color that most resembled the original frame, I cut the can and turned it into a thin sheet, then I drew the frame template on top of it and little by little I cut it out. Then with a little glue I joined the frame with the rest of the paint, I added blue to the sides and this is how my design turned out.
Luego viene la parte que más me gustó hacer, y es el marco para la tarjeta, me basé en los diseños que han sido compartidos en publicaciones anteriores, tomé el marco que se usa para las criaturas en este caso el que simboliza el diamante. Para hacer este marco utilicé latas de aluminio de cervezas, seleccioné el color que más se parecía al marco original, corte la lata y la convertí en una fina hoja, después dibujé encima de ella la plantilla del marco y poco a poco la recorté. Luego con un poco de pegamento uní el marcó con el resto de la pintura, agregué color azul por los costados y así fue como quedó mi diseño.
What do you think of the result? I forgot to mention that after painting the Glaciox design I put another coat of varnish to protect both the paint and the wood. It was a lot of fun making a full-size card, I think you can add more details, you could even carve the figure and achieve another finish, but what I have done has left me very satisfied. Qué les ha parecido el resultado? se me olvidó mencionar que luego de pintar el diseño de Glaciox volví a poner una capa de barniz para proteger tanto la pintura como la madera. Fue muy divertido hacer una carta en tamaño real, creo que se le pueden agregar más detalles, hasta se podría tallar la figura y lograr otro acabado, pero lo que he realizado me ha dejado muy satisfecho.
