Hello friends of Holozing, I hope you are well, I think that Wrakcoo has been one of the creatures that I have made the most in various fanarts, so much so that I even made a small sculpture, and I really like his style, so remembering the adventures of Detective Pikachu, I thought: And why not also, Detective Wrackoo? Thus this Fanart was born where I gave our dear friend the outfit of the most famous researcher in literature, the great Sherlock Holmes, especially his hat and blanket, but I left out his smoking pipe. I really liked how it turned out and I hope you like it too, here I briefly show the step by step of how I did it.
Hola amigos de Holozing espero que se encuentren muy bien, creo que Wrakcoo ha sido una de las criaturas que más he realizado varios fanart tanto así que hice hasta una pequeña escultura, y es que me gusta mucho su estilo, así que recordando las aventuras de Detective Pikachu, pensé: Y por qué no también, Detective Wrackoo? así nació este Fanart donde a nuestro querido amigo le puse el atuendo del investigador más famoso de la literatura, el gran Sherlock Holmes, especialmente su gorro y frazada, pero dejé por fuera su pipa de fumar. Me gustó mucho como quedó y espero que les guste a ustedes también, aquí muestro brevemente el paso a paso de como lo hice.

The material I used to draw Wrackoo is a cardboard that belongs to an old art collection, some sheets have deteriorated over time and others are in perfect condition. In its lines they talk about the history of some of the most famous artists, it comes in French with incredible designs, I did some tests with colors and the finish is very good so I decided to use them to paint, before they finish they are dusty, You can see how the letters are perceived in the background. To make the sketch noticeable, I made some brush strokes with white paint mixed with water to mark the territory to draw.
El material que utilicé para dibujar a Wrackoo es una cartulina que pertenece a una antigua colección de arte, algunas hojas se han ido deteriorando con el tiempo y otras están en perfecto estado. En sus líneas hablan de la historia de algunos de los artistas más famosos, viene en idioma francés con unos diseños increíble, hice unas pruebas con colores y el acabado es muy bueno por lo que decidí utilizarlas para pintar, antes de que terminen echas polvo, pueden ver como al fondo se perciben las letras. Para que se note el boceto hice unas pinceladas con pintura blanca mezclada con agua para marcar el territorio por donde dibujar.

After the sketch I began to paint the eyes, which I made a combination of green colors, I wanted them to look very vivid. And for the fur on the face I used a dark brown and gray base, and from there I moved towards the green tone.
Después del boceto comencé a pintar los ojos a los cuales les hice una combinación de colores verdes, quería que lucieran muy vivos. Y para el pelaje del rostro puse una base color café oscuro y también gris, y a partir de ahí marchar hacia el tono verde.

Next I began to use green tones, my goal was to make it look like a digital illustration, just like Detective Pikachu looked, it is very difficult to achieve that effect only with colored pencils, you have to use a mixed technique where they are incorporated other elements that help achieve the objective.
Seguidamente comencé a utilizar los tonos de color verde, mi objetivo era hacer que se viera como una ilustración digital, así como se veía Detective Pikachu, es muy dificil lograr ese efecto solamente con lápices de colores, hay que utilizar una técnica mixta donde se incorporen otros elementos que ayuden a logra rel objetivo.

Then using the same technique as the beginning, with white paint mixed with water I made part of the clothing that appears in the illustration, I placed one of his hands near his chin to illustrate that he is thinking about something. I made his outfits, like the cap and jacket, green with stripes, as well as a brown scarf. To finish, with a flat brush I began to blend all the colors I had used.
Despues utilizando la misma técnica del principio, con pintura blanca mezclada con agua hice parte de la ropa que aparece en la ilustración, una de sus manos la puse cerca de su barbilla para ilustrar que esta pensando en algo. Sus atuendos, como la gorra y chaqueta las hice de verde con rayas, así también una bufanda de color café. Para finalizar, con un pincel plano comencé a difuminar todos los colores que había utilizado.
This is how it was finished, what do you think? Don't you think he could star in his own movie? I think so, and I would be a great detective. I hope you liked it, not only is it a drawing but it represents a new beginning for something that was already ending, and I am referring to the sheets of cardboard that I mentioned at the beginning. My goal is to use them now to make many illustrations. For now I say goodbye, I hope to return very soon, greetings to all!
Así es como quedó finalizado, que les parece? no creen que podría protagonizar su propia película? yo creo que si, y sería un gran detective.. Espero que les haya gustado, no solo es un dibujo sino que representa un nuevo comienzo para algo que ya estaba finalizando, y me refiero a las hojas de cartulina que mencioné al principio. Mi objetivop es utilizarlas ahora para hacer muchos ilustraciones. Por ahora me despido, espero volver muy pronto, saludos para todos.!
