Greetings friends. I have currently made several sculpts of the new holozing creatures. I would like to make all the new ones before continuing with the evolutions and dragons, so one of the ones I was missing was this figurine, Xolo.

Saludos amigos. Actúamente he hecho varias esculturas de las nuevas criaturas de holozing. Me gustaría hacer a todas las nuevas antes de continuar con las evoluciones y con los dragones, así que una de las que me faltaba era esta figurita, Xolo.
Step by step
For this sculpture I thought of making it in plasticine, so that it would be of the same material as the others I had made before, such as Cinella or Glimmo.
Because of the shape of the figure I didn't think of making a complicated outline, because plasticine is also a bit hard, so I just made the initial shape, one similar to a bowling cone, only thinner at the ends.
In the whole body of the character I nailed a wooden stick that goes all the way through it, as you can see in the image below.
Paso a paso
Para esta escultura pensé en hacerla en plastilina, para que fuese del mismo material que las otras que había hecho antes, como Cinella o Glimmo.
Por la forma de la figura no pensé en hacerle un esqueto complicado, porque la plastilina también es un poco dura, así que solo hice la forma inicial, una parecida a un cono de boliche, solo que más delgado en los extremos.
En todo el cuerpo del personaje clavé un palillo de madera que lo atraviesa por completo, tal cómo pueden ver en la imagen de abajo.
The head was a bit larger than what a realistic character would be. However, it reminded me a lot of the little fire wolf.
So I made the head in a similar shape, only a bit more stylized.
La cabeza era un poco más grande que la que sería un personaje realista. Sin embargo, me recuerda mucho al pequeño lobito de fuego.
Por eso hice la cabeza de una forma similar, solo que un poco mas estilizada.
At this point I continued with the four legs of the character, legs made in the same way as I made Naara's legs.
If you look at the image, I used wooden sticks to give support to the legs so that they will stay fixed on the body of the character.
Ya en este punto continúe con las cuatro patas del personaje, patas hechas de la misma manera a como hice las patas de Naara.
Si se fijan en la imagen, utilicé palillos de madera para darle soporte a las patas y que estos se quedarán fijos en el cuerpo del personaje.

After I had the body shape finished, I started working on the small details, such as the tail, eyes, ears and nose.
The tail is similar to the tail of a cat or a tiger, something curious. To make this tail so that it would not fall because of the weight and the same characteristic of the plasticine, I used a wire as a base and covered it with black plasticine.
For the eyes I used gray plasticine, not the typical white color that I use for this type of figures. Then I used some black plasticine to make a line around the eye.
Después de tener la forma del cuerpo terminada, comencé a trabajar en los pequeños detalles, como la cola, los ojos, las orejas y la nariz.
La cola es similar a la cola de un gato o un tigre, algo curioso. Para hacer está cola y que no cayera por el peso y la misma característica de la plastilina, usé un alambre como base y lo cubrí con la plastilina de color negro.
Para los ojos usé plastilina de color gris, no el típico color blanco que uso para este tipo de figuras. Luego usé un poco de plastilina negra para hacer una línea alrededor del ojo.
If you remember the reference image of Xolo, you will know that it has blue and gold legs respectively.
To color them I simply dipped each paw in the bottle of paint and let them dry.
Si recuerdan la imagen de referencia de Xolo, sabrán que este tiene las patas de color azul y dorada respectivamente.
Para colorearlas simplemente sumergí cada pata en el frasco de pintura y las dejé secar.
Finally I added the golden pupils of the eyes, the lines under the eyes and the golden eye between the eyebrows.
Finalmente agregué las pupilas doradas de los ojos, las líneas debajo de los ojos y el ojo dorado en el entrecejo.
In this way the figurine was completely finished. Below you can see a series of photographs of the final result:

Bro buena colección la que estás creando con las criaturas de holozing, no haz probado el material foami moldeable (clay) creo que también te saldrían buenas creaciones.
