Zingtober Day 13: Horizon-Ocean Healer

Greetings creative hivers, today I got quite inspired and let myself be carried away by my emotions with this illustration that shows the Ocean Healer with a quite relaxed look, as she is as comfortable as possible in the privacy of her home, but beyond that while I was working on the sketch I identified myself with the illustration because somehow it is what I have been doing for nights, in my room, concentrated on drawing, getting the best of my artistic side and at the same time letting my mind fly to create.

For the Zingtober challenge, whose main theme is “Horizon”, I created a drawing that captures the serenity of the night. In the center of the scene, a girl indulges in her favorite hobby: drawing the horizon. This intimate and reflective moment is framed within a circle, where many clouds in shades of white, gray and black surround a glowing, white moon. The clouds, with their subtle shadows, add depth and contrast to the composition, highlighting the purity of the moon that illuminates the scene.

The nocturnal atmosphere of the drawing not only frames the figure of the girl, but also symbolizes the calm and immensity of the horizon that she contemplates and captures in her notebook. Each stroke of her pencil captures the vastness of the night sky, while her thoughts are lost in the infinite, finding inspiration in the beauty of the unknown. This drawing is not only a representation of the horizon theme, but also an ode to creativity and the tireless search for new personal and artistic horizons.
