The name of the plant is Aridus.Hi friends @holozing community. Its your humble girl @happy080. It is my pleasure to share with you all, an intriguing but peculiar plant sketch.
Unlike the beautiful green plants that adorn the environment with its flourishing and blossom flowers, Aridus has no leaves and flowers. Given by its name, Aridus is a barely, twisted plant with its branches reaching upwards like a longing arms - just skeletal limbs that stood resilient against time.
Ordinarily, to the human eyes, Aridus seemed lifeless and abandoned by nature's beauty. But to those who truly saw the plant for who it is, those who could actually see beyond the ordinary, really saw Aridus as a masterpiece of endurance. Despite its barren appearance, its root really went dip into the soil in a wavy ceramic pot. Normally, the plant is supposed to die, because it has no leaves or flowers, and especially because it is looking so dry and unkept. But surprisingly, Aridus is very healthy and strong, drawing its strength from the unknown. It is a peculiar plant with a silent strength that often goes unnoticed.
THE INVISIBLE SIGNIFICANCE OF ARIDUS
Despite the fact that Aridus seemed lifeless, hopeless, irrelevant and helplessly abandoned by nature. It actually held a world of purpose. Its barren branches were never a sign of weakness, instead was of great survival.
In various towns and villages, plants like Aridus are used for medicinal purposes. Their barks are crushed into powder form for various health healings. Their twisted branches are used for firewood, either for cooking or for staying warm at night.
It taught me that not all beauty is actually loud and colorful. Most often times, strength is silent, and being resilient is the greatest art.For all the amazing and awesome artists here in @Holozing Community, Aridus is an inspiration.
JUST A SMILE BACK, TO THE OBSERVER.
To everyone who would look at an Aridus plant and actually refer to it as emptiness, look again. it is not barren at all; it is actually waiting. It is not in any sense weak at all; It is definitely wise.
Just like an Aridus plant, Humans too basically have their times of radiance, times of quietness, times when we literally feel empty but we are actually gathering strength for the greater task ahead.
LESSON LEARNT
I have actually learnt a great lesson from the simple looking plant.
"strength is basically not always seen. Most times, it is simply endured."
