We wanted to write a quick post to let you know on some updates we have either implemented already or have planned to come soon.
POSH Distribution ended today
In total, roughly 3 million zing were claimed by POSH holders with ~50% going to @poshtoken.wallet and the other 50% to the community who held POSH. This was roughly worth 60,000 Hive in total at the current price. POSH has some more plans on similar distributions so make sure to follow @poshtoken for updates.
Liquidity provider rewards diluted
The rewards to our liquidity providers on hive-engine were slashed by about 25% in the new reward window lasting for 60 days from today. These 25% (10,000 zing daily) will be used towards two other chains in our upcoming bridge and trading pairs. No date on when that's going to launch yet but we're working on making it as easy as possible for UX, being able to send zing to other chains, providing liquidity and trading of zing to be done through the website are the plans and we'll update you as soon as we know more!
Distribution of zing has decreased from 300,000 daily to 250,000 with 10,000 awaiting to be re-entered on binance chain and ethereum LP.
- 200,000 to hive power delegators
- 30,000 to liquidity providers
- 20,000 to staking rewards
Collection Rewards
We are planning on releasing collection rewards along with our upcoming alpha starter sale. We've decided to start off with 40k daily zing but potentially adjust it based on packs sold and later on to include healers as well. We realize many are awaiting to purchase starter packs so we decided that 40k sounded like a good amount. These will initially be split between unopened and opened packs, more info on the point system and exact split to be announced.
Once this is live it means that daily distribution would go back up to 300,000.
Community beneficiary settings
We've received some concern recently from stakeholders of the way we fund things, at the same time we have also planned to invite more users to assist us not just with curation and moderation of the community but also become active on our socials and managing those accounts. We currently only have Hive, X, and Reddit as our official outlets but plan on adding more with your help such as Youtube, Medium, Tiktok, Inleo threads, etc.
To make this possible without it taking a toll on funding the game, we've decided to implement a default beneficiary setting for users posting onto our community. The rewards will be sent to a separate account and similar to our other finances will be kept transparent to the community of how funds are being used.
We'll be implementing this shortly along with official community rules and reminding users to adhere to them if they're consistently ignoring them.

Looking forward to the Genesis and Healer Sale. Reducing the amount of ZING given out should stabilize the price, while reaching out to other chains and benefiting purchasers are good future plans IMHO.
Most important will be an Alpha Version of the game to keep the momentum and get more people into the holozing universe.
The ZING Token distribution seems well handled so far.

We're quite happy with how well distributed its been since the beginning. We were a bit concerned a big stakeholder would delegate A LOT early and grab most but it seems quite balanced at the top.
Bye bye POSH rewards, I bought some POSH months ago for the Zing rewards but sold them some days ago using the money to increase my share in the liquidity pool.
By the way, I was curious when the starter pack sale will start.
yeah,Posh is gone but I think there are more plans with it for future so I am holding posh even though it's little.
No date yet, we'll announce it as soon as we know!
Will community beneficiary stuff be for everyone or for those who team holozing selects. Also what if someone has not claimed their posh token holding rewards and they open their profile of 5th Feb or sometime later. Will they be allowed to claim pending rewards?
We'll give them some time before we remove the option from the website.
The beneficiary settings will be for everyone posting onto the community, it has to be set before you hit post and can't be adjusted later but we'll just warn people and remind them that it helps funding a better and more organized community and social media outreach for the game. Although we may mute them eventually if they ignore our warnings.

Thanks for the update. With the end of the POSH Zing rewards, I hope the price goes down a bit so I can buy some and enjoy its advantage in the next project. The collection reward is interesting, having a split between opened and unopened. I wonder what the advantage will be to having them unopened.
Are there any updates regarding the very first playable version? I am really looking forward to at least sneak a peak to the game ;)

Thanks for this amazing opportunity, too bad I was a little late to the Zing game.
Wondering why liquidity providers aren't included in the top contributor statistics, the ROI has been rather fruitful.
It's something to with hive-engine and the way those transactions are sent out, apparently it's not easy to track them using API's or something, thus we left them out. It's probably for the best cause opening up LP rewards to bsc and eth will surely not make it easier to track all rewards and listing their addresses won't help much with knowing who they belong to, etc.
I appreciate that it's not a focus of yours, game dev is far more important.

These updates are not bad at all, the ZING distribution in my opinion is well thought out, has been balanced, and I'm excited to see what else is next. I will soon be creating ZING content, to help in that part, I am active on Hive, and on Inleo I will be as well, both in threads and long format, so, I will gladly support the content and the spreading of the game.

I'm already eagerly anticipating the alpha starter sale and collections reward, and I can't wait to see what new possibilities await.
Some packs will definitely remain unopened – the anticipation of discovering their contents is almost as thrilling as the rewards themselves.

Are there already any plans to add support for more chains after Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain?

This only confirms what had been previously announced. It's good to know how the community keeps the information circulating, but I think this post is not pinned in the community, I was able to read it because I check into the Holozing account directly to see something.
On the other hand, the beneficiary option is good, you should talk to arcange to see if it can be programmed in automatic by the Peakd frontend so that it is not necessary to place it manually.
Finally, I am at your disposal to help you in whatever you need, be it moderator or curator, I can also create content in other networks, so if I can be useful in any way I have the disposition.

I find it quite interesting that they have decided to invest so that $ZING can be marketed both within hive and outside. This will undoubtedly be a point of attraction for people who do not know about Hive and who are interested in this game.
