Happy Sunday, y'all! π I made a fan art of Cinella!
Here is my art π
Perhaps Cinella is the smallest creature so I assume it can rest on a leaf. π Maybe it is reserving its energy or just taking a short nap, hehe.
I assume this is a ladybug in the real world so it would be a red speck in a green background. I used a textured brush for the lineart.
I then applied the base colors. I started off with a light green for the leaf and later on, build the darker shadows. For the bug, I used a hard airbrush for the shadows.
Incorporating the lights made it look better! :D On the leaf, I used a flat brush and blur brush.
Final Art
I wanted the bug to be the focus and so I blured out the background including the leaf. I added some bokeh lights for extra detail.
