Today again with my project, I want to show how to knit a turtle Amigurumi , inspired by Glimmo from Holozing.Good evening to everyone in the #holozing community, God bless you..
This turtle named Glimmo is the first turtle on the campus. He will focus on having a solid defense and at the same time being quick on his feet.so he is a very interesting character.
Materials for the realization of the Amigurumi of turtle (Glimmo):
- Knitting yarn , colors: green, vinotint and orange.
- Knitting needle, number 3.
- Wool needle.
- Liquid silicone.
- Movable eyes.
- Scissors
Making the turtle amigurumi, inspired by glimmo:
- The first thing we will do is take the vinotint yarn together with the needle,.make a magic ring , inside that ring put 6 low stitches.
- For the second round, make two single crochet stitches in each stitch for a total of 12 stitches.
- For the third row, make a single crochet and a double crochet, for a total of 18 stitches.
- For the fourth row, change the color from vinotint to orange.
- orange.
- Knit 18 single crochet stitches, but take the back of the yarn. For the sixth row, knit a single crochet and a decrease.
- Place a piece of stuffing inside and close with the help of a knitting needle.
- The body of the turtle is now ready.
- To make the legs and arms, make a magic ring and put 4 single crochet stitches inside the ring. Knit 4 single crochet stitches in the second, third and fourth rows. - In the same way you will make 4 stitches that will form part of the legs and arms.
- Now it remains to glue everything in place with the knitting needle.
- To make the front part, we make a magic ring, cast on 6 single crochet stitches and for the other row, we cast on an increase in each row for a total of 12 stitches.
- To make the head, we make a magic ring and cast on 6 single crochet stitches, one increase for the next row.
- For the third row, an increase and a single crochet.
- Now a decrease and a single crochet. The head is ready. We glue the movable eyes with liquid silicone.
