Hello ~ How's everyone doing?
Happy New Year, everyone! What are your New Year resolutions? As for me, I plan on honing my skills in digital art. It has been three months since I started working on digital art, and so far, I am enjoying it and have seen some improvements. Anyway, I'm excited to share another piece of my fan art with you!
SKETCH
While working on this character, I realized that I love the sketch more than the final outcome! Hahaha. I think I mentioned in my fan arts blog before that there are artists who color their sketches and treat them as final drawings. The messy lines add to the beauty of the piece. If I can manage it, I think I'll try that style for fun or as an experiment someday.
I just realized I keep drawing fan art of light healers from Holozing. 😄 Is it too obvious that I like these characters? Haha! Whenever I want to create a fan art piece, my hands naturally want to draw these light healers. Or you know, they just basically attract me ahaha
I was thinking about going with a plain white background at first, but that felt a bit boring. I usually stick to flat color backgrounds since they’re my favorite. But then I remembered that CSP has some cool free background assets, so I figured I might as well use them.
tada ! I totally think CSP has awesome backgrounds! It took me a while to finish this one though. I was debating whether to add Zing creatures. I tried, but I struggled with where to put them. After getting frustrated, I decided to just leave them out for now and make it up in my next drawing.
