Collection # 01: INFURNO. Holozing Fanart 🔥

in Holozing Community2 days ago (edited)

Hey, Hey, here's the @lacochinaensalsa!

I was absent for many days, due to my health and the complete damage to my old tablet, which led me to temporarily put drawing aside. But I can tell you that I have a new tablet and it cheers me up a lot. I am still adapting to some things again, but I still managed to finish an illustration that I was eager to share with you. It is a version of Infurno, designed with a view to being a collectible card. It is certainly my first proposal, I promise to improve!

My idea was to illustrate a female Infurno accompanied by her cub in the middle of the night. To transmit through the illustration the feeling of protection of these Fire Holos. I placed the context in a dark place, the truth is that I wanted the element of fire to stand out greatly. Illustrating fire is not really my strong point, so that's why it took me several hours in those areas, I even did it in two different ways. I didn't like the first result at all, it differed a lot from the original art. Clearly it was not a copy, but from what I read in the collection publications, certain lines of similarity between the art and the original must be maintained.

Let's quickly see Drawing process:

I started by drawing a rough sketch, to initially place the two characters. Then I proceeded to make more specific strokes and then I did a cleaning stage. I don't know if it was the days I was not drawing, but I initially felt a bit lost. I thought about many things while I was drawing, well after all it took me about 5 hours, I had plenty of time to think, LOL. After cleaning, I went on to establish base colors, for this I borrowed the color palette from the original art. Using the long grip tool, I located the base colors. One of the things that took me the longest was the fire, I did it twice and the second time I got a decent result in my opinion. The truth is I'm proud, I love to draw and despite the fact that I'm not the most skilled, I do things with a lot of love. Once the fire was done, I went on to place shadows and lights, the lights on this occasion were generated by the same fire of the Infurnos.

En cuanto al fondo, elegí un tono negro con combinación de grises y azules violaceos, le coloque un cielo estrellado a dos capas. Uno con opacidad y otro con luz fuerte.
