I am happy to be here with you on this occasion, to present a Fan Art of the Ocean Healer. It is without a doubt one of my favorites, I love the color palette they used in the original art and above all, the calm and cold character it conveys. I like to play with the characteristics of the characters, I tried to stick to the original art in some aspects, but without leaving aside my own version.

I'm really proud of the result, I'm on my way to improving and continuing to practice my art, but I consider this illustration to be one of my best. I've added some accessories to the Ocean Healer, to make her look more feminine. I love ear piercings, so I had to have them. Also, I've recreated her element symbol in a medallion style. I loved her outfit and attitude!

Let's quickly see Drawing process:
I like to create a very rough sketch first to get my character comfortable. I like it to be the main focus, although I should try to practice backgrounds. I move on to an outlining stage, then to a detailing stage. With my sketch ready, I move on to adding colors using the paint bucket tool. And finally I move on to detailing shadows and highlights on each color layer as I think necessary. This last stage, besides outlining, is one of the ones that takes me the longest.

I'm not very good at creating backgrounds, I feel like I get a little lost sometimes. But this time I just used a brush called "drops", which I changed color and size. It was quite fun, I did the illustration in two sessions, one of 2 hours and another of 2 hours and a bit more.
