These last few days I've been having a terrible creative block. Before my current illustration I was working on another one, which I honestly don't know, I didn't feel comfortable at all and I felt like nothing was flowing. I stopped for a couple of days in case of stress and how overwhelming the day can be. However, when I tried to get back to it I felt the same, kind of blocked.
I decided to do something else, looking at one and other images of the Holos I opted for a more "Naughty" Fan Art. Draw the Fire-type Holo Dragon but in a cartoonish version in a bad mood and wanting to cry. I confess, I have expressed my emotion in it, when I'm in a bad mood I cry and cry, I don't know if it's something that comes with the complete package haha 🤣. It was something I don't know, I felt free when doing this illustration, I felt that everything was flowing, I felt like I was in my comfort zone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

My Fan Art of the Fire-type Dragon has been a cute and grumpy chibi version, life tells him: "thingy". But he only growls and cries... For it, I have used a large part of the color palette of the original art. I loved the result, everything was so loose and light that I felt very happy to finish it and to have won a point against the creative block.

Let's quickly see Drawing process:
I started as always with a rough sketch. Initially I didn't know what expression to develop. As I mentioned, I felt a crazy creative block and I don't know, I felt a bit lost. Then I started drawing clean lines and at the same time using an eraser as much as I could to give it more aesthetics simultaneously. I did the outline in separate layers and sometimes I used the lasso tool because there were details I wanted to correct. One of them was that the claws on the legs were too long and with the lasso tool I gave them the size that seemed most harmonious to me with the character.
After being satisfied with the outline, I moved on to the color stage where I basically used the paint bucket tool to give color to the entire body of the dragon. Once that was done, now came the interesting part. I like to play with the airbrush and the blurry brush, using both as needed I created light effects on the skin. At the same time, I also created layers of luminosity to highlight certain details.

The Holo Dragon has turned out beautifully angry, I love how expressive it has been and how I have unintentionally expressed my anger on it. It's amazing how art is a wonderful and endless canvas.
