I am very happy to have the opportunity to share with you my illustration today. I wanted to go a little bit out of the ordinary and create a creature inspired by Holozing. It was quite fun, because it is like a lot more freedom in everything. For this creature I was inspired by a Butterfly and the pastel colors with touches of light, I loved the result. The name of the creature is: "Aetheria".
Aetheria has psychic attacks behind her charm that envelop her victims in a living dead enchantment, they become puppets capable of harming themselves. Everything starts not only with psychic waves, but enhanced with a free song. From the wings, Glitter Attack, which at the same time sedates her strongest opponents, and then absorbs their energy through the Holo diamond of her tail.
Let's quickly see Drawing process:
For this creature I was inspired by butterflies, which is why it has colorful wings, but at the same time I imagined a creature with bright colors for that unique touch. I started by making a quick sketch, and then I moved on to outlining and cleaning. At this stage I had some problems, because I'm using a brush that doesn't give me the finishing touches I like, I haven't been able to customize it to the point that I feel happy with it. So I make an improvement to them using the eraser and manually. Later I moved on to the base color stage, opting for a range of pastel colors and other more striking ones.
The next step was the details of the eyes and the talisman of the tail, then the shadows, lights and highlights. For this illustration I used brushes such as: Pen, flat brush, mix, blur, bokeh, glitter and airbrush. For the shadows, I chose to use the same tones, but turning the color cursor to the darkest. For the background, I used a pink base, which I then added touches with Bokeh and Gaussian effect in two layers. Finally, some glitter.

I loved the result, I really love the color palette. I really liked the light effect, and especially imagining Aetheria walking in such a bright space. This is my first time doing this type of effects, I still need to practice, but I'm glad I took the step to something new.
