I'm very pleased to be back with you today. I've been offline for a few days, my tablet finally broke down and blocked some things I was thinking about. However, today I'm here with a new Fan Art of the Ocean Healer, I liked drawing her with this expression, somewhat grumpy.
Getting out of our comfort zone is sometimes quite disturbing, after my tablet broke, next came the mobile. So I had to buy a new mobile that could somewhat adhere to my drawing needs and basic communication needs, because I handle most of the things for client orders through it. Then I stumbled upon the fact that Medibang does not work comfortably on mobile, so I opted for another application: HIPAINT. It was a process of adaptation, the user interface, tools and order of them had left me disoriented. I was sad, but then I started to read and investigate a bit.
Let's quickly see Drawing process:
As a resource, I used my Android phone and the HiPaint drawing app. I started by making a rough sketch to give me a better guide for proportions, then I moved on to simultaneous outlining with cleanliness, as well as details. Then I started with base colors, and then I added shadows, textures, and some highlights. I can say that I don't know the names of the brushes very well, I used a normal pen type, one called Bleed, a soft airbrush with a flow configured to taste, and some dry ones for the textures. As additional tools, I used Guassiano blur, smudge, and shapes.
