Hello, how are you? It has been a while since I drew Light Healer, so I decided today to draw one. LOL, yeah, it was a last-minute decision of mine.
I've been wondering why my laptop is lagging whenever I draw it never happened before and I know what the culprit is, since I discovered what makes my laptop slow my rendering is smooth and saves me a lot of time and the culprit is the recording on the drawing program I am using LOL, used all the storage on my laptop so that's why it lags. haaah~
It is our fiesta this week and I never watch one event LOL Maybe tomorrow, it is the main event, the last concert I attended was when Eraserheads was the one band that was going to sing, so why not go it is free. Yea,h it is worth it and they play my favorite song so after the concert I am excited about the fireworks!
I’ve added some designs here that were inspired by the beauty of fireworks! I hope you enjoy them!
The Process:
It took me 3 layers of sketching before I was satisfied with the line art, I've been strict about making my lineart clean sometimes saves me time rendering.
Then I added the base color of each part, using the shaped fill brush, which I love to use making adding color easier and cleaner.
Next, I render the skin first but not just the first touch of layer, and then I render the eyes, lips, and hair. I like to do it step by step layer by layer like applying makeup.
Because I am not dependent on the lineart I lower the opacity of it and then I continue rendering.
Then I darken the background color and start the second layer of rendering by adding the eyeliner to make her eyes pop out more and then adding more shadow and highlight to the other parts.
Next, I added the yellow highlight on her hair this is just a reference render so it will be easier to know where should I add the next layer when I add more details to it.
For this part, I added more details on the hair using rake bristle dry like a brush shape like hair strands, and then I added highlight on the face and highlight on the lips, and I rendered the clothes too and I added gold color on her clothes.
In the original character, she had gold pieces of jewelry so I added extra on my fanart, like earrings and necklaces.
My favorite part is adding background design and highlights, this part I got these ideas from the fireworks I saw before.
