This time, I decided to take on an exciting challenge: humanizing Xolo while preserving her feline essence.
Bringing an animal character into a humanoid form is always a fascinating process. I wanted to capture Xolo’s mysterious and elegant aura, emphasizing her cat-like features while giving her a strong, charismatic, and enchanting presence. Her large, golden eyes radiate confidence, and her feline ears remain a key part of her identity. I also incorporated a sleek, dark outfit with golden trims that enhance her noble and mystical aura.

Hoy estoy muy emocionada de compartir con ustedes mi más reciente creación: un fan art de Xolo en estilo anime, un personaje del universo de @holozing. Esta vez, decidí asumir un desafío emocionante: humanizar a Xolo sin perder su esencia felina.
Transformar un personaje animal en una figura humanoide es un proceso fascinante. Quería capturar el aura misteriosa y elegante de Xolo, resaltando sus rasgos felinos mientras le daba una presencia fuerte, carismática y encantadora. Sus grandes ojos dorados transmiten confianza, y sus orejas felinas siguen siendo una parte clave de su identidad. También incorporé un atuendo oscuro con detalles dorados que refuerzan su aire místico y noble.

One of the most exciting parts of this humanization was maintaining Xolo’s feline attributes while making her look natural as a humanoid character. Her most striking feature is her piercing golden eyes, which carry the same sharp and intelligent gaze as her original form.
Her short black hair, with elegant blue highlights, mimics the colors of her original fur, and the blue diamond-shaped gem on her forehead reinforces her mystical essence. Instead of regular human ears, I kept large feline ears with a mix of black, red, and blue tones, which make her stand out even more.
Her outfit is sleek and sophisticated, a form-fitting black bodysuit with golden trims that highlight her silhouette. The layered elements in her gloves, boots, and shoulder details give her a warrior-like feel, balancing elegance with strength. Her long tail remains a key part of her design, gracefully curving behind her with a striking black-to-yellow gradient and a blue marking that ties into her overall color scheme.
Una de las partes más emocionantes de esta humanización fue mantener los atributos felinos de Xolo mientras la hacía lucir natural como un personaje humanoide. Su rasgo más llamativo son sus intensos ojos dorados, que conservan la misma mirada afilada e inteligente de su forma original.
Su cabello negro corto, con elegantes reflejos azulados, imita los tonos de su pelaje original, y la gema azul en forma de diamante en su frente refuerza su esencia mística. En lugar de orejas humanas, decidí mantener grandes orejas felinas con tonos negros, rojos y azules, lo que la hace destacar aún más.
Su vestimenta es sofisticada y elegante, un traje ajustado negro con detalles dorados que resaltan su silueta. Los elementos superpuestos en guantes, botas y hombros le aportan un aire de guerrera, equilibrando fuerza y elegancia. Su larga cola sigue siendo una parte clave de su diseño, curvándose con gracia detrás de ella y mostrando un degradado de negro a amarillo con una franja azul que unifica su paleta de colores.
Process / Proceso
The journey started with a rough sketch to define her pose and proportions. I wanted Xolo to have a confident yet elegant stance, so I carefully adjusted her posture to reflect both agility and grace. Her feline ears and tail were essential to maintaining her connection to her original form.
Once the sketch was refined, I moved on to the line art. Clean, precise lines helped bring out her expressive eyes, intricate outfit details, and dynamic tail. Varying the thickness of the lines added depth and gave the character a more lively and polished look.
Coloring was one of my favorite parts. I used a deep black for her outfit, contrasting it with glowing gold trims to enhance the regal feel. Her blue highlights and golden eyes became the focal points, adding vibrancy to the overall composition.
To enhance the sense of depth and realism, I carefully applied shadows, using a mix of soft gradients and sharp contrasts. This helped define the volume of her body, the folds of her clothing, and the sleekness of her hair.
Adding highlights was essential to make the piece come alive. The gem on her forehead, the golden details, and her glowing eyes received extra light effects, creating a magical and dynamic result.
For the background, I chose a soft, glowing blue atmosphere with blurred lights, giving Xolo an ethereal, mysterious presence. This effect made her silhouette stand out beautifully while reinforcing her enigmatic aura.
El proceso comenzó con un boceto inicial para definir su pose y proporciones. Quería que Xolo tuviera una postura segura pero elegante, así que ajusté cuidadosamente su pose para reflejar tanto su agilidad como su gracia. Sus orejas felinas y su cola fueron elementos esenciales para mantener su conexión con su forma original.
Una vez que el boceto estuvo listo, pasé al delineado. Utilicé líneas limpias y precisas para destacar sus ojos expresivos, los detalles de su vestimenta y la fluidez de su cola. Variar el grosor de las líneas me permitió dar mayor profundidad y dinamismo a la ilustración.
El coloreado fue una de mis partes favoritas. Utilicé un negro profundo para su traje, contrastándolo con detalles dorados brillantes para realzar su aire majestuoso. Sus mechas azuladas y sus ojos dorados se convirtieron en el punto focal, agregando un toque vibrante a la composición.
Para potenciar el sentido de profundidad y realismo, apliqué sombras cuidadosamente, combinando degradados suaves con contrastes marcados. Esto ayudó a definir el volumen de su cuerpo, los pliegues de su ropa y la suavidad de su cabello.
Los brillos fueron clave para darle vida a la pieza. Resalté la gema en su frente, los detalles dorados y sus ojos con efectos de luz adicionales, creando un resultado mágico y dinámico.
Para el fondo, elegí una atmósfera azul luminosa con luces difuminadas, dándole a Xolo una presencia etérea y misteriosa. Este efecto hizo que su silueta destacara hermosamente, reforzando su aura enigmática.
