Very good morning my people of #Hive, happy Monday and happy start of the week for everyone and I hope you are very very well, here's your friend Manuel greets you and I'm very happy to bring you a new post for my blog. During this weekend I was working on a sketch that I could make during last week while I was a little sick with the flu, and in it I wanted to represent The Forest Healer of #Holozing, make a fan art of her, but with a little more musical style, my idea was that she was in the forest, lying in a big tree while playing some music with an instrument created by herself only with wood and elements of nature.... I hope you like it and here I will leave you the process of creation and painting so you can appreciate it completely:
Muy buenos días mi gente de #Hive, feliz lunes y feliz inicio de semana para todos y espero que se encuentren muy muy bien, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel super feliz de traerles un nuevo post para mi blog. Durante este fin de semana que paso estuve trabajando en un boceto que pude realizar durante la semana pasada mientras me encontraba un poco enfermo con la gripe, y en el quise representar a La Sanadora del Bosque de #Holozing, hacer un fan art de ella, pero con una estilo un poco mas musical, mi idea era que ella estuviese en el bosque, recostada en un gran árbol mientras toca un poco de música con un instrumente creando por ella misma solo con madera y elementos de la naturaleza…espero les guste y aquí les dejare el proceso de creación y pintado para que lo aprecien al completo:

At the beginning I focused on giving a very relaxed look and appearance to the Healer, and above all very youthful, I drew her with a short haircut, and holding in her hands a big guitar made with natural elements like tree wood and branches to use to play some music for her and the forest creatures. I started the coloring process taking some saturated tones for the skin, I usually like to start with colors like salmon and little by little move towards more saturated tones and making firmer strokes, while at the same time blurring with the swab brush. Then for the face work I like to give very expressive reactions to my characters, in this case with greys and greens I create quite open and happy eyes, and with the red color I create the lips with a big smiling expression.
Al principio me enfoque en darle un look y apariencia full relajada a la Sanadora, y sobre todo muy juvenil, la dibuje con un corte de cabello corto, y sosteniendo en sus manos una gran guitarra hecha con elementos naturales como madera de árbol y ramas la cual utilizar para tocar algo de música para ella y las criaturas del bosque. Comencé el proceso de coloreado tomando algunos tonos saturados para la piel, por lo general me gusta empezar con colores como el salmón y poco a poco irme hacia tonos más saturados y realizando trazos un poco mas firmes, mientras al mismo tiempo voy difuminando con el pincel hisopo. Luego para el trabajo del rostro que me gusta darles reacciones muy expresivas a mis personajes, en este caso con grises y verdes cree unos ojos bastante abiertos y alegras, y con el color rojo cree los labios con una gran expresión sonriente.
For the hair I decided to vary a little the very long hair design of the original Forest Healer, and instead I created a much shorter and youthful hair, in this case I used a range of intermediate green tones and with the watercolor brush I was working the texture and creating a little thick strands from the middle part to the back, and for the front part some hair and thin and short strands. In the case of the clothes I tried to keep the original style of the character, only this time without the big sport jacket, I took gray tones and with them I created a pair of pants of thick fabric, and with the darker grays I created a belt around it; then with a brown color and a little yellow I built a high neck sweater with a more casual style and fluffier fabric, and with the greens I painted the logo of the Forest of the Healers right on his chest.
Para el cabello decidí variar un poco el diseño de cabello muy largo de la Sanadora del Bosque original, y en su lugar cree una cabellera mucho mas corta y juvenil, en este caso use una gama de tonos verdes intermedios y con el pincel de acuarela fui trabajando la textura y creando mechones un poco gruesos desde la parte media hacia atrás, y para la parte frontal algunos cabellos y mechones delgados y cortos. En el caso de la ropa trate de mantener el estilo original del personaje, solo que esta vez sin la gran chamarra deportiva, tome tonos grises y con ellos cree un pantalón de tela un poco gruesa, y con los grises mas oscuros cree un cinturón alrededor; luego con un color marrón y un poco de amarillo construí un suéter de cuello alto con estilo mas casual y tela mas esponjosa, y con los verdes pinte el logo del Bosque de los Sanadores justo en su pecho.
For the creation of the guitar I took a full opaque brown tone and a fine tip brush and a little lumpy texture, my idea was to give the instrument a rough and rudimentary appearance to give the idea that the guitar was formed and sculpted from a large forest tree, with the small brush I added small texture of branches and some cracks and fissures to give more realism to the wood. To finish, I focused on representing a forest scene at sunset, for this I used dark brown tones just behind the Healer with which I would create a large tree on which she is lying; then with my brush of tree leaves and various shades of green I gradually populated the scene to the background, I also created some musical notes coming from the strings of the guitar to represent that she is really playing music.
Para la creación de la guitarra tome un tono marrón full opaco y un pincel de punta fina y un poco de textura grumosa, mi idea era darle al instrumento una apariencia un poco tosca y rudimentaria para que diera la idea de que la guitarra fue formada y esculpida de un gran árbol del bosque, con el pincel pequeño agregue pequeña textura de ramas y algunas grietas y fisuras que dieran mayor realismo a la madera. Para terminar, me enfoque en representar un escenario de bosque al atardecer, para esto use tonos marrones oscuros justo detrás de la Sanadora con los cuales crearía un gran árbol sobre el cual esta recostada; luego con mi pincel de hojas de árbol y varios tonos de verde fui poblando poco a poco la escena hasta el fondo, también cree algunas notas musicales saliendo desde las cuerdas de la guitarra para representar que realmente esta tocando música.
