Very cool to see that you're concerned about bringing more balance to the game, regardless of how much players have invested in it. Of course, it's fair that those who invested more have something extra, like rare custom items or things like that, but knowing there will be good competition among everyone is great. Just one question: I don't know if you've mentioned this elsewhere, but will the PVP dynamic be turn-based, like in Nintendo 64's Pokémon Stadium? (not sure if you've played that one)

yes, turn based and with a timer for pvp, you can pick from using a capture device, certain items in your bag, a creature move, a heal or to leave the battle (pve) each turn.
I did play that as a kid, fun fact is that it was probably one of the first iterations of using the same assets in multiple games/machines which we definitely wanna make more use of with zing creatures and healers :)
