Hello hivians, hope you all are good
Today, I made a stenciling of the Holozing community on a souvenir bag while in school
One of the major use o the construction lines when carrying out stenciling is to make the work uniform, legible, equally and we'll proportioned
My construction lines were drawn with accurate measurement with reference to the size of the stenciling in consideration.
The basic materials I used during the stenciling were cardboard paper, pencil, scissors, ruler, a piece of foam, an oil paint mixture and a cutter.
I started first by drawing the faint horizontal and vertical construction lines with upright lettering styles
Then followed was fixing in the required letters that makes up the Holozing community (that is...H O L O Z I N G)
After this, I cut out the parts which are not to be used for the stenciling with help of a cutter and then this was what I got...
This took me to another level of work, using the piece of foam, I dipped it into the bowl of oil paint mixed, and then placing the letters on the bag, I accurately placed it on the spaces to have the shape of the letters as shown below:
One of the challenges I had was when the oil paint started gumming and dragging the stenciling paper, and this almost made the oil paint to spread into spaces it should have not.
I overcame the challenge though, because I was careful enough to hold the stenciling paper closely tight to the bag ( that's the material I wanted posting it to and as such the letters of the Holozing were legibly and equally printed accurately.
Here is the outcome of my printed Holozing colours on my souvenir bag.
Hope, this will be nice and presentable, thanks for stopping by to my blog.
