how are you all? I hope you are all well. Today I am here with a new artwork of mine, which I created for the Holizang community character.

First I got out my masking tape so I could create boundaries and the color wouldn't spread around.
Then I made a sketch of the character with my pencil. Then I realized I could add some things to the background, so I also made a dragon and a moon.
I started making this art when I was in the hostel before the Eid holidays. And then I started drawing it again a week later. Because in the intervening days I didn't feel like drawing at all.
When I don't feel like making art, I don't because then my art gets ruined, so I made it a long time later.
I added color to its background with some dark blue and sky blue. I always keep the first layer dull so that when I add another layer of color on top of it, the top color looks more prominent and adding a dull layer makes the base look better.
Let me tell you a funny hack of mine🤣. I didn't use water to wet the colors in this one, I used a cold drink which is Sprite because my colors were very damaged so I used this. I don't know why I did this 🤣 but I thought maybe this would fix my colors because they were very dry and damaged and the thing is that my colors were completely fixed. They recovered completely from this hack and are no longer damaged.
When it was time to draw the dragon, I used a blue ballpoint pen because I wanted to draw the dragon with a lot of detail, so I just colored the inside and outlined it with a blue ballpoint pen and added details to it.
You will also see the moon and stars in the background if you look closely. The moon in the picture represents a
celestial and mystical theme, and also shows the character's connection to the night, Characters power and wisdom being shown in the background.
You can see from the pictures how much detail I added to it and how much time I spent creating it.

Here is the final result. I applied some varnish on it, which makes my painting shine. I hope you all like it too.
