Hello gang!
My exam is finally over so I'm back hehe. Ah I really missed this. I took a day off to recover first before posting a new art blog in here. Exam was traumatising as usual. No surprises there, right 😂? Anyway who wants to blab about boring stuff. So as my comeback post I decided to draw water healer. I decided to give her a new suit this time. I was kinda getting bored from drawing the coat all the time so I designed a new top. This is how it turned out and I hope you guys like it :)
Water healer in new suit
The Process
- Made a rough sketch using this reference from Pinterest
- Made a clean lineart from it.
- Painted the base colours.
- Painted her eyes but this time I added some sparkles in there as well.
- Started shading her skin as per the source of light.
- Added more shades on her skin.
- Started blending the shades and added highlights on her skin.
Started working on her new suit.
- Started painting her hair by adding highlights and shadows.
- Finished painting the hair by adding more strands and details.
The Result
- Made a simple bubble background and painted molten rim lights on her darker side. Finished the painting by refining some areas and correcting some mistakes. I hope you guys enjoyed the process.
