Forest healer- Holozing semi-realism practice

Illustration3.png2.png

Hello everybody !
I keep practicing daily to draw semi realism and trying to find a way to actually like it, or find my own style within semi realism, so this is a practice of how i color faces and I think this time I liked the result much more, after each image I will explain some things and my thoughts as I advance in the practice.
my muse for this time is the Forest healer from the HOLOZING game on hive.

THE BALL

ok this is my first kinda practice, a ball with the base colors and mid tones/dark tones i was gonna use, or at least try to.
image.png
i start with a base sketch, simple enough, just base lines to actually place my base color and start the practice
image.png
base color done
image.png
ok here i placed a smoll icon from where my light source is coming, aaaand then i placed the shadows according to what i think is correct... is kinda a try and learn where.
image.png
here i applied the mid tones

image.png
later on, give her some redish color to the skin
image.png
then i added light to the skin
image.png
now time to work on that neck lights and shadows, so i follow the same color principals i have been using on the face
image.png
mmm at least im doing a better work rendering shadows on the skin

image.png

now time to actually work on the hair, i initially wanted to make her hair like a bush but i think ill explore this idea tomorrow, cuz i actually wanted to make her hair full of leaf... mmm i dont know the plural for that.
image.png
i added the eyes
image.png
and started to make the lines for the hair... wich i regret, doing this kind of hair consumes me lot of time, bc the lines needs to be perfect.

image.png
then started working on the shadows for the hair, wich now i think it was too much, looking back to it i think i prefer the lines for the hair and just the base color and thats it(?

and here is the final result for the hair while i was working on background and some details
