Hello, Holozing community. Once again, I take my needle and threads to capture in fabric the figure of another of the incredible creatures of this beautiful ecosystem. Today I have decided on Chirple, as its colorful plumage made me fall in love with it from the first time I saw it. Although its evolution is much more colorful, it also exceeds the maximum size of the hoop for embroidery, so I did not want to make it, because I would have to reduce its size and so many details are lost in the finish.
Of this work I have to emphasize the variants of green tones that it has, which luckily I had similar threads and I did not have to invent any mixture. Another curious thing that happened to me is that I used half of the threads that I usually use, that is, three, in the silhouette marking so that the lines would be thinner, but due to the low quality of the fabric I had to repeat some parts. But in the end these are things that happen and the important thing is to have fun during the process and achieve a beautiful finish like the one I will share with you below.
Hola, comunidad de Holozing. Una vez más, tomo mi aguja e hilos para plasmar en tela la figura de otra de las increíbles criaturas de este hermoso ecosistema. Hoy me he decidido por Chirple, ya que su plumaje colorido me enamoró desde la primera vez que lo vi. Si bien su evolución es mucho más vistosa, también excede el tamaño máximo del aro para bordar, así que no quise hacerla, pues tendría que reducir su tamaño y así se pierden muchos detalles en el acabado.
De este trabajo tengo que destacar las variantes de tonos verdes que posee, los cuales por suerte tenía hilos semejantes y no tuve que inventarme ninguna mezcla. Otra cosa curiosa que me pasó es que utilicé la mitad de las hebras que suelo emplear, o sea tres, en el marcado de la silueta para que me quedaran los trazos más finos, pero debido a la baja calidad que tenía la tela tuve que repetir algunas partes. Pero al final eso son cosas que pasan y lo importante es divertirse durante el proceso y lograr un acabado bello como el que les compartiré a continuación.

The first thing I did was to draw the silhouette of the character on a sheet of paper and then transfer it to the fabric with the help of a carbon paper. In this step it is very important not to move the sheet of paper and the fabric so that the lines of the figure do not run. After going over the silhouette with a marker, place the canvas on the frame.
Lo primero que hice fue dibujar la silueta del personaje en una hoja de papel para luego transferirla a la tela con la ayuda de un papel carbón. En este paso es muy importante no mover la hoja y la tela para que las líneas de la figura no queden corridas. Luego de repasar la silueta con un marcador, colocar la tela en el bastidor.

I began to embroider the whole silhouette with the black thread. This time, instead of using the six strands of thread from the skein, I used only three so that I would have a finer line, since the head and legs had many details, and this way they would look better. It was the part that took me the longest, because the strands were thinner and sometimes they came out of the fabric a little bit. Then I stuffed all the feathers of the face and the belly with white thread.
Comencé a bordar con el hilo negro toda la silueta. En esta ocasión, en vez de utilizar las seis hebras de hilo de la madeja, utilicé solo tres para que me quedara un trazo más fino, pues la parte de la cabeza y las patas tenían muchos detalles, y de esta forma quedarían mejor. Fue la parte que más me demoró, pues separar las hebras y al ser más finas, a veces se salían un poco de la tela. Luego rellené toda la parte de las plumas de la cara y la barriga con hilo de color blanco.

With yellow thread I bordered the beak and with two different shades of orange I bordered the feathers in the center of the face and the tail feathers. With the red thread I filled in the rest of the tail feathers and carefully filled in the legs without covering the black thread of the silhouette and the white claws.
Con hilo amarillo borde el pico y con dos tonos diferentes de color naranja borde las plumas del centro de la cara y las plumas de la cola. Con el hilo rojo rellené el resto de las plumas de la cola y cuidadosamente rellené las patas sin tapar el hilo negro de la silueta y las garras blancas.

What remains is the green plumage. For this, I used three shades of this color similar to the colors of the character to obtain a finish as close as possible to the original drawing.
Lo que queda es el plumaje verde. Para ello, usé tres tonos de este color semejantes a los colores del personaje para obtener un acabado lo más parecido posible al dibujo original.

And so this beautiful embroidery of Chirple, one more of the characters of the Holozing ecosystem, is finished.
