Hello, Holozing community, entering this world of digital art, today I want to share with you my second official drawing, I say official because I don't count the test drawings I do, since I do them trying new techniques and brushes. Little by little I will be learning much more to give new textures and the realism effect that I am crazy to learn.
This time I wanted to make a drawing where two of the characters were present: Tiderion and the healer of the ocean, since both are of the water element, they would complement each other very well in an aquatic habitat. This drawing is a bit flat, I'd say, I'd like to give that realistic and shiny skin effect to the human, but well, I think it's ok for having recently started in this world. I hope you like it, here is the step by step of how I did it.
Hola, comunidad de Holozing, adentrándome en este mundo del arte digital, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi segundo dibujo oficial, digo oficial porque los dibujos que hago de prueba no los cuento, ya que los hago probando nuevas técnicas y pinceles. Poco a poco iré aprendiendo mucho más a dar nuevas texturas y el efecto realismo que estoy loca por aprenderlo.
En esta ocasión quise hacer un dibujo donde estuvieran presentes dos de los personajes: Tiderion y la sanadora del océano, ya que ambos son del elemento agua, se complementarían muy bien en un hábitat acuático. Este dibujo está un poco plano, diría yo, me gustaría darle ese efecto realista y brillante de la piel a la humana, pero bueno, creo que está bien para haber comenzado recientemente en este mundo. Espero que les guste, a continuación, el paso a paso de como lo realicé.

I began by making a quick sketch of the idea I had in mind, and then in detail I made the lines that would make up the drawing. I started with the healer sitting on the sand and then the dragon next to her. When I finished them, I drew some shells to make the atmosphere more marine and the division of the horizon. For this I used the ink pen that makes the tips of the lines clearer and sharper.
Comencé haciendo un boceto rápido de la idea que tenía en mente, para luego detalladamente hacer las líneas que conformaran el dibujo. Empecé por la sanadora sentada sobre la arena y luego el dragón junto a ella. Al terminarlos, dibujé unas conchas para hacer el ambiente más marino y la división del horizonte. Para ello utilicé la pluma tinta que hace que las puntas de las líneas queden más claras y puntiagudas.

I added a new color layer to give the base colors of my drawing. I used the characteristic colors of the characters. I started by coloring the characters and then drew the surroundings, the shells, the sea and a light tone for the sky.
Añadí una nueva capa de color para dar los colores bases de mi dibujo. Utilicé los colores característicos de los personajes. Comencé coloreando los personajes para luego dibujar los alrededores, las conchas, el mar y un tono claro para el cielo.
I added a new layer to incorporate the lights and shadows, since these are the ones that give life to the drawing. In this step I started with light shadows to test and a few spots on the dragon's body.
Añadí una nueva capa para ir incorporando las luces y sombras, ya que estas son las que le dan vida al dibujo. En este paso comencé con sombras claras para ir probando y unas cuantas manchas en el cuerpo del dragón.
Then I darkened the shadows and colors a bit more to make a better contrast, added several details of the eyes and the illumination of the shells and horns. I blurred a little bit the healer's skin with the airbrush to give it a darker and a little bit shiny tone. I did the same with the abdominal part of the dragon.
Luego oscurecí un poco más las sombras y los colores para hacer un mejor contraste, agregué varios detalles de los ojos y la iluminación de las conchas y los cuernos. Difuminé un poco la piel de la sanadora con el pincel aerógrafo para darle un tono más oscuro y un poco brillante. De igual forma hice con la parte abdominal del dragón.

To give it the final touches, I added details to the background, I drew some clear clouds using the cloud brush, the sea waves I did with the sharp pencil that gives a sense of movement to the lines and with the stippling pen enlarging the pixels I got the texture of the sand.

Para darle los retoques finales, añadí detalles al fondo, dibujé unas nubes claras utilizando el pincel nube, las olas del mar las hice con el lápiz de punta aguda que le aporta una sensación de movimiento a las líneas y con la pluma de punteado agrandando los píxeles obtuve la textura de la arena.
