today i made a new digital drawing of the female ocean healer.
i tried some new color for this drawing, instead of my usual bright and saturated skin tones i used darker skin tone to make the hair glow up more.

Whenever I start working on a drawing, I always try not to complicate my life, but most of the time I end up doing the opposite. The drawing I share with you today was one of those cases. At first, I just wanted to draw Shinaara on a grassy knoll resting and that's all, but something inside me was screaming for a wooded background for the fan art.

Very good evening @holozing, video game lovers! Today I will show you how to create a cute and interesting version inspired by the beautiful healers of the ocean and the light belonging to the amazing ecosystem inside @holozing, again with another digital project.

Wow the sun and lighting is amazing!
I had this idea to draw Chirpily meeting eye to eye with the healer. For this to work I need to focus on their faces rather than their body so the best way to do this was to paint them in a close up shot like I have drawn below. Another thing was I had to do the lighting on this on my own so I was a bit skeptical that it would work well. As you can see the source of the light is at the center of the canvas so the characters behind it should be painted in a way that they are in the shadows but is still visible. Next up was the best part which is why I tried this direction of source of light. The rim lights will be formed at the center on both of their body with respect to the light souce. Now all I needed to do was to make it glow with airbrush so that it blends with the atmosphere behind it. This is how it turned out :)
