Hello, welcome to my blog. Hope you are having an enjoyable weekend. How's the weather in your city? Hot? Cold? Or Chilly? Here, it's been a mix of hot and cool weather. Hot in the afternoons and cold in the evenings and night, all thanks to the rains.
It's been sort of a rainy week, not just slight rain but heavy downpour, and it only falls in the evenings. Today's evening would make it the fifth time this week. With this, I think the rains are finally here. It has to be because it's been long expected. Lol.
Looking out my window this evening, I noticed that the clouds were gradually gathering and building up, turning the sky into grey color, which was an indication that it might rain again. That would mean another cool evening, oh how glad I was.
Out of excitement, I quickly grabbed my phone, stepped outside my house, and started taking snapshots of the sky's transformation.
These photos were the first set of shots I captured right inside my compound, and the time was between 18:47pm - 18:48pm.
Ten minutes later, the sky was all gloomy, completely enveloped by the dark clouds. Following it were flashes of lightning and rumbling sound of the thunder.
At this point, there was no more doubt that a heavy downpour was imminent. Yes, let it rain ☔.

It looks like a lot of transformers are going to be destroyed especially when I saw the last picture. I love a rainy day, but when it gets dark like this, just know there might be destruction lol.
No transformer was destroyed around my neighborhood, only trees and crops.
As it's the custom, the power distribution company will take days to sun dry the wires before restoring power. 🤣. We're in dip shit in this country.

Rainy season is always my favorite season 😊.The environment is always serene and Chilly💯.
That's nice. It's a very important season, without it, our crops won't grow well, leading to food scarcity.

In as much as I prefer rainy season because of the cold and clear breeze but still I don't like to be beaten by rain. Well the hot day time and the cold night time are welcome developments, at least it gives me a good night sleep.
