Blockchain games are mainly passive as off now.
I still love Splinterlands just a clarification first.
I tried to get one of my friends involved into splinterlands, the best blockchain game so far, in a hope of getting some referal reward. After playing a few rounds he said that the game is boring,Ouch that kinda hurts we have together tried some game, I was hoping to bring him onboard on this one too and have no actual skill set.
Well if he didn't like the game that is his opinion but simply saying that the game require no actual skill set. I need to put my foot here so, I rant to him about all the unique monster card, summoner cards, various user stat attack class(magic range melee) and varing mana pool to keep diversified meta throughout the game. "Owned you, was the feeling I git at the moment"
To which he replied,"Okay! Maybe it is not totally skill less, you need to pick a set of cards which is best suited at the mana pool pick out the set of cards," Now how is that for skill less "I choosed the wrong word it is passive, you see their are all these variables to make it look skill based, but once you submitted that deck their is nothing you can do"
"Maybe you don't understand how card based game works you use a limited deck to face the other guy," Dumbo didn't even tried card games yet
"Yes, I agree but their is more to is that makes it active once you pick those cards you do deployment of those card, people might hurt am impasse so they will need to rearrange their deployment one card before the other, it might effect it in positive or a negative way nobody knows what might happen. But here the result is decided as soon as both the user submit their decks, even the creator of games realise that therefore they gave people a chance to fast-forward the whole thing even or even straight forward get to the result," he said his part.
"Okay but you need to see the battles to analyse where your strategy went wrong to improve lineups battle analysis is useful," I ain't giving up
"A new line up sure but what is you have seen the results before, even you yourself would far forward. In other games the same lineup can have caring results due to improvisation and mistakes but here same lineup is bound to give same results every single time due to non activity during battles."
Future
Well I get that the blockchain games are new to the arena but we cannot deny, that their is need to make these games more active. I understand that being block based the games use their respective crypto, but scope should be left out more improvisation during the games, so that user could feel better and more involved if we want to bring in more people to the games. The constant rush of doing and changing things is missing in these games
Most gamers are not concerned about the NFT or the ownership of the game, they crave for the feeling of being actively squishing the other guy, where their skill is what makes them the best player. Neglecting the fact that the guy who they are crushing might be two to three lvl lower than times😂Jokes apart the need for randomness need to be added in some manner, to make more people join the band, otherwise they will stick limited to people who come under the hype and leaves soon enough once it dies down.
You won't understand us gamers stick with your books and I was the one who wanted you to join and you were the one who brought out that non active thing but you seems to have changed the narrative.
