A little bit about me
Okay I am an avid gamer, if you guys consider mobile gamers are counted as one. I played a long list of games on mobile and during my peek I spend anything around 6-7 hours a day during my summer break (you might see in article how it impacted my education😅😂).
A list of games that I have played so far Clash of clan, Clash royal, Mobile legend, pubg. The pc ones (Dota, war commander my first game). So I kind of give it a try regardless of my English skills.
Blockchain
Blockchain is impacting the whole world for better or worst, well if you all me it is for better only but Trump and China don't and they hardly agreed on anything. Blockchain had been for long impact in the financial segment but now with smart contracts defi ,nft moon is the limit(pun intended).
The games are not much behind well in some cases they are even forward you could buy and sell lands in the virtual world games like upland deeds handed out to you within minutes right nice. Go rush to buy your house before someone else does it.
Many government's are actually trying to implement the idea to put up their land records onto the blockchain. So, in a manner of speaking these games might be a peephole to the future. One crazy idea into the virtual world transcending the plain to be implement in real world.
Why bother about blockchain my normal games run fine
Finance your game developer
Not on your priority list but yes this blockchain can help you to raise fund for the developers, by sails of lands or special rewards, players putting a stake in the games themselves. Giving developers needed funding and proove the games worth in front of the world, players get some ownership in the game, so they are the one who will be deciding the future of the game.
You get paid for your time, cause of the nft assets.
You played a game you got bored, don't look at me like that you know we all do, eventually. But what about the hundreds of hours that you spend on the game.
The earlier hours make it hardest to say goodbye. Cause well these are your hard earned progress it has a great value for you and probably a lot other gamers they might even be willing to buy it off you if the price is right.
How do I know that this is true well their is kind of a black market for these things you contact other people at various discord or Facebook groups people who are willing to give up the game sell their id to someone who want to bost a level 10 base to his friends. But many a times people get scammed, can you blame them they are gullible teenagers most of the time.
This problem can be easily solved if the assets are in the form of NFT, they can be sold in the open market. If this thing would have existed like four-five years ago I would have got some hefty rewards cause I left COC and CR both at their peeks.
Black marketting
When I used referred the term black market I mean it because if you ever go through the terms and conditions of games( I went through a few), they strictly forbid any kind of trading of accounts. Even mentioning that is someone is caught fire trading account their account will be banned, these practices are frowned upon.
But since most people never read terms of agreement or device to ignore the warnings, account trading is still texting cause you have to share your Google, apple or steem account with someone, most of the time people sign-up work their normal account so trading account becomes a no go zone. Wider accept to of nft in games could get rid of this nightmare.
My attempt at blockchain based games
I tried a few games on mobile which have blockchain word associated with them in any manner although most are not completely based on blockchain, mostly they include the element of NFT for their in game assets, but most of them are not that good to play but they are just seeds the fruit is yet to be plucked.
- League of Kingdom it is a MMORPG game, that uses ethereum so gas prices kill the buzz, they sell lands onto the global map for the users can buy it for crypto or cash and later that land reaps you reward in the form of resource collection. If you don't want to spend real money their is an alternate to if gather resource yourself mint them in nft and sell that in open market.
- Upland - Become a real estate tycoon this one is interesting because all the property are all their in real world, although you just get a mock(don't go to their claming that you are owner of the place) virtual deed for the place those deeds are on blockchain.
- Splinterlands - This one is most interesting nice gameplay and stratergy involved, if you want to play something I highly suggest this game it is the best one which I have tried. It is based a card based game every card is a nft so you own the assets from teh very beginning, they even recently sold a good chunk of land plots under expansion program. Gameplay is nice actually better then the rest of the games, you pick your lineup other guys does his, every card has a specific skill set. Flexible mana pools keep the game intresting. Although you might get a free entry in the game through starter pack but to make any actual progress you need to buy the spellbook that cost 10$
Hive seems best option for blockchain games.
First of all there is no gas fees transaction are free you only spend resource credit meaning your initial amount stays in you account. I might have figured it wrong but if their is a better one as per you please let me know in comments.
So what is the future
Well the whole blockchain thing is kind of in a nascent stage, but I will place my bet that sooner rather than later more mainstream games will willfully or in community pressure will have to involve the nft elements into the game. So it is better for them if they do it before the competition.
Decentralised financing is not new to the gaming world although earlier DOTA2 has used the The International(TI) passes to finance the biggest prize pool in the history of eSports almost every since the inception of the TI 1 and now they are at around TI 11 I guess so that buisness modal has worked for more then a decade.
The gaming community love their games they will be willing to do anything for expansion of the game and I believe they would be more than happy to put some stake in the game.
Like I said the germ of idea from Upland is future, these games could act as the test base for more wider acceptance.
Sup bro.
about the part where we leave out games, leaving everything thing behind is what pisses me off.. all those hundred of hours spent... ok you really enjoyed and had fun on every minute, but making a profit of it would be something really cool !!
proof of gaming will be something that will change the gaming market forever.
Yes men when I left Clash of Clan that was kind of peak for that game and someone was willing to give me 100$ for it but I linked the game through my main Google account so can't give the id

I refuse to accept that this penmanship is yours😂, nice work man
I'm also a game lover, but the game on blocktrain needs to cut some parts because it's hard to understand
Which parts, can you specify?
I used to be an avid gamer too and played a lot of games like Dota2 or WOW. But later I was not interested in playing and not making money on it. I decided to try my hand at gambling, and luck smiled at me. But at first I did not know on which platform I can get my first money, so I found reviews on . These reviews helped me a lot and I decided on the choice of the site.
