Hey, fellow Splinterlands warriors and potential warriors who might be wondering, “Can playing a game actually make you money?”
Well, this time, I’m tackling a Splinterlands social media challenge while inviting you all to peek at my progress in Splinterlands. Who knows—after reading this, you might think, “Wait, this game isn’t just fun, it’s also a profit machine!” Let’s dive right in!
1. Land 1.75 Update: My Farm Now Produces Lumber
Let’s rewind a bit. When I first heard about Splinterlands, I’ll admit—I was skeptical. “Can you really earn money by playing a card game?” I thought. But curiosity beat doubt, and I decided to give it a shot. Turns out, that decision opened the door to a new world of strategy, challenges, and, of course, profit opportunities.
Fast forward to today, after playing Splinterlands for a while, I now own a Forest Common Land plot. Before the latest update, I used this land to produce Grain. The results were decent for stocking up monster food when placed on the plot. But just as the Land 1.75 update rolled out—bingo! My farm now churns out Lumber!
Here’s the cool part: post-update, resources automatically align with your Land type. So, if you own Forest Land, you’ll harvest lumber continuously—not just for decoration, but to trade directly in the Splinterlands ecosystem. Besides battling, I now have an extra income stream from lumber sales. Not bad, right?
2. SPS & Glint: Rewards from the Battle Arena Grind
Next up: I’m still grinding hard in the battle arena. Every win earns me SPS and Glint. My SPS stash has now hit 17,604 SPS, roughly worth $108 USD! Pretty sweet for a digital side hustle.

But let’s be real—many Splinterlands players have way scarier card collections than mine. To keep up, I don’t just hoard Glint; I swap it for new cards to boost my arsenal in the arena. The more cards you have, the higher your chances to win… and earn even more!
3. SURVIVAL MODE: Where Your Card Collection Gets Tested
Speaking of cards—don’t sleep on Survival Mode! I’m obsessed with this mode because it truly tests your card collection.
How does it work? Simple but intense. Every loss puts your used cards on cooldown, locking them temporarily. The more cards you own, the more flexible your strategy, and the longer you’ll survive. It’s like having a backup squad—your cards are literal soldiers, bro!
4. Extra Features: Trading, Guilds, & Resource Farming
Beyond the above, Splinterlands offers tons of other features. Trade DEC, SPS, or resources from Land. Don’t forget Guilds—clubs where you can join Guild Brawls for epic challenges. I’m in a guild myself, and the teamwork (and guild rewards) are next-level.
Splinterlands isn’t just a card game. It’s a multi-path ecosystem: battling, Land farming, trading, and guilds. You get fun and profit. So if you’re still thinking, “Can a game really make money?”—I’m living proof.

Awesome progress! It's always inspiring to see consistent improvement. What’s been your biggest challenge so far, and how are you tackling it?
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words. 😊
Honestly, my biggest challenge so far has been staying consistent—especially on days when motivation magically disappears (usually right after I promise myself to “stay productive”). 😅
To tackle it, I’ve learned to set small, realistic goals and remind myself that it’s okay to stumble, as long as I keep moving forward. Progress over perfection, right? And supportive messages like yours definitely give me that extra boost!
