SUPER SOLID EARTH TEAM
Rule Set
Mana Cap: 36
Holy Protection: All monsters get Divine Shield
Lost Magic: Magic hits Armor instead of Health
Splinters allowed: Water, Earth, Life, Dragon
Strategy
Since Magic wasn't available, I went for a team with as many monsters with the Shield ability possible, including a Neutral Monster -- Disintegrator who has the Intimidate ability which lowers enemy melee. The Shield ability reduces incoming enemy melee and range damage. Coupled with Mylor Crowling's Thorns ability, which will punish enemies for attacking with melee types, this makes for a very defensive monster team. My 1st position was Almo Cambio with the Immune ability, in 2nd I had Onyx Sentinel with Shield ability, in 3rd I had Stone Golem also with Shield ability, in 4th I had Mycelic Infantry with Shield ability, Disintegrator with Intimidate ability in 5th, and Creeping Ooze in 6th for a little bit of speed.
Opponent's Line-up
My opponent went for a heavily armored water team -- Kelya as Summoner, Serpent of Eld with the Dodge ability in 1st position, Flying Squid with Reach ability in 2nd position, Deeplurker with the Opportunity ability in 3rd, Merdaali Guardian with Tank Heal in 4th, Snipe Whale with the Snipe ability in 5th, and Kulu Hunter in 6th.

That's an interesting strategy for this ruleset, stall, shield and thorns, I should try that sometime. I instinctively go for sneak/snipe/heal similarly to your opponent.
Thanks! Sneak/Snipe/Heal sounds like a good combo too
One day I'd like to try Camila Sungazer as summoner, due to her melee debuff, paired with both Shield-ability and Intimidate-ability monsters.
