It's been a few months since I've made a post about WizzWoods. I must say that my venture into Telegram play-to-airdrop projects has not been very profitable and most have been a disappointment. Over the months, I've narrowed down the games that I farm into three, with WizzWoods being the top.
I've been grinding WizzWoods daily and for the most part, I've achieved a decent amount of stats in the game. The cute and professional-looking graphics kept me motivated to continue doing my tasks even though I wasn't sure whether or not it will be worth it. I thought it was going to be another money grab like most Telegram miniapps due to the microtransactions that the developers were offering.
But this all changed when Berachain launched their mainnet. WizzWoods has now opened the in-game marketplace to facilitate the buying and selling of digital assets between players.
What this means is that the items that I've been grinding all those months can now be sold to other players and be converted to cash. The wizards that are the core assets in the game are also sold at various prices. Even the resources that you farm in your land, mushrooms, ethereals, and mana gels, can be tokenized and sold to other players. Almost every asset can now be converted to NFTs and traded in the market with the Bera token being the medium of exchange. This will be replaced by the native token, xWizz, once it launches.
Due to its popularity, WizzWoods became one of the top projects in the Berachain ecosystem in terms of volume and many players who were waiting for their efforts to be rewarded were given their chance to exit.
But this is only the beginning phase of this project. The token generation event is yet to happen, which is expected to be in Q1. After that, a new scheme of token mining will be implemented and there will be more utilities for the token. I've never been this excited for a Telegram-based game and I'm looking forward to what this project will become.
