Luckily for me, I met the right people who taught me a lot about this wonderful culture. Along the way, they encouraged me to get one. I only have two, but I plan to get a few more, for sure.
The thing is, they told me that every tattoo has to mean something to me. It has to be something that represents me and that whenever I look at it, it reminds me of something. Hence the idea for this, my first tattoo.

Thank you, @roswelborges for the invitation to this initiative. I never thought I would have the platform to talk about my #tattoos. Well, there was a time when I thought I would never have one. You know the bad reputation our parents give to this wonderful art.
Then, I took this image for the cover of my first book Last Services. So, there's no better design than this for my first tattoo. If a book represents transcendence, permanence, then I'll get it tattooed and I'll always carry it with me.
It didn't hurt, as such. To tell you the truth, I liked it so much that I almost fell asleep while they were tattooing me. And that was because a good part of it was in lines and the orange area in watercolor is the mixture of red and yellow. So, in that respect, they went over it quite a bit.
However, it was an experience that I enjoyed a lot.
The second tattoo is also a pen drawing by Ray Respall Rojas. It's called "Ouroboros."
In this case, it's not a snake that bites its tail, but a dragon. And instead of making a circle, it forms an infinity.
By the way, the tattoos were also don by Ray himself.
That's why I was fascinated by the idea of getting this tattoo.
The idea of the shoulders came for two reasons. The first is quite banal: I have a lot of hair, but not in this area. The second is that I like to see my tattoos. I wouldn't like to get one on my back and never be able to see it.
I don't deny or judge those who get them there, but it's a matter of personal taste.

For me, as a #writer, this tattoo represents immortality, transcendence through the work. That's what I aim for as an #artist, to transcend, to immortalize my name through my words.

Por suerte para mí, conocí a las personas indicadas que me enseñaron muchísimo sobre esta maravillosa cultura. De paso, me alentaron a realizarme alguno. Solo tengo dos, pero pienso tener algunos más, de seguro.
La cuestión es que me dijeron que cada tatuaje tiene que significar algo para mí. Tiene que ser algo que me represente y que siempre que lo observe, me recuerde algo. De ahí la idea de este, mi primer tatuaje.
Se llama “Como nace una rosa”, y tiene nombre porque es la imagen de ilustración de un cuento que escribí. Así le puso el artista que la dibujó: Ray Respall Rojas.
Luego, tomé esta imagen para la cubierta de mi primer libro Últimos servicios. Por tanto, no hay diseño mejor que este para mi primer tatuaje. Si un libro representa la trascendencia, la permanencia, pues me lo tatúo y lo llevaré siempre conmigo.
Doler, como tal, no dolió. Si les cuento la verdad, me gustó tanto que casi me duermo mientras me tatuaban. Y eso que llevaba buena parte a líneas y la zona naranja en acuarela es la mezcla del rojo y el amarillo. Así que, por ahí, me repasaron bastante.
No obstante, fue una experiencia que disfruté muchísimo.
El segundo tatuaje también es de un dibujo a plumilla realizado por Ray Respall Rojas. Se llama “Ouroboros”.
En este caso, no es una serpiente la que se muerde la cola, sino un dragón. Y en Lugar de hacer un círculo, forma un infinito.
En la semiótica del ouroboros, el círculo representa el ciclo eterno y el símbolo de infinito nace de un círculo. Para mí, como escritor que soy, este tatuaje representa la inmortalidad, la trascendencia a través de la obra. Eso es lo que pretendo como artista, trascender, inmortalizar mi nombre a través de mis palabras.
Por cierto, los tatuajes también me los hizo el propio Ray.
De ahí que m fascinara la idea de realizarme este tatuaje.
La idea de los hombros vino por dos razones. La primera es bien banal: tengo mucho vello, pero no en esta zona. La segunda es que me gusta verme los tatuajes. No me gustaría hacerme uno en la espalda y nunca poder verlo.
No niego o juzgo a los que se los hagan allí, sino que es una cuestión de gusto personal.
Ojalá y se sumen.

Concuerdo contigo en lo que respecta al sitio donde hacerse un tatuaje, pues tampoco pensaría en la espalda, pues para mi el poderlo ver es importante, es un recordatorio de por qué lo hice.
Me gustaron mucho ambos, pero me quedo con el segundo, el significado del infinito y la trascendencia me atraparon.
