Hello Hivers hoy les quiero hablar sobre esta herramienta qué es utilizada en el neopaganismo ( visión contemporanea del pasado pagano), es conocida como escalera de bruja y consta de una serie de cuentas que se usan para cantar encantamientos, hechizos u oraciones, muy parecido a los japa mala o rosarios de meditación de 108 cuentas qué son muy utilizados en la cultura védica, budista y musulmana.
Hello Hivers today I want to talk about this tool which is used in neopaganism (contemporary vision of the pagan past), it is known as a witch's ladder and consists of a series of beads that are used to chant incantations, spells or prayers, very similar to the japa mala or meditation rosaries of 108 beads which are widely used in Vedic, Buddhist and Muslim culture.
Japa Mala se compone de dos vocablos qué significan, Japa: recitar en voz baja, y Mala: girnalda, juntos significan algo así como guirnalda para recitar oraciones y es justo el sentido que le vamos a dar a esta herramienta que llamo escalera a los Dioses.
Japa Mala is composed of two words that mean, Japa: to recite in a low voice, and Mala: garland, together they mean something like garland to recite prayers and it is just the sense that we are going to give to this tool that I call stairway to the Gods.
Y lo usaremos Igualmente como se hace, por ejemplo, en la cultura Védica, donde se recita un mantra asociado a la Divinidad, pero en este caso se adapto para recitar uno o varios de los Epitetos del rostro de la Divinidad a adorar.

2 specific number of beads that can be made of wood, acrylic or semiprecious stones (we will choose the quantity according to the number that is associated to the Deity to worship or a number that resonates with us, we can keep the 108 beads or we can use numbers multiples of 3).
3 A bead larger than the others (This will go in the middle of the ladder and symbolizes the Deity and our inner teacher).
4 Yarn, knitting yarn or a moderately thick thread. (to make a tassel).
Comenzamos a insertar las cuentas en el hilo, en este caso, utilice el hilo doble y me ayude con una aguja.
We start inserting the beads on the thread, in this case, I used the double thread and helped myself with a needle.
Cómo realice dos escaleras una para el Sol y otra para la Luna escogí colores asociados a estas energías para la Luna: plateado y para el Sol: amarillo.
As I made two staircases, one for the Sun and one for the Moon, I chose colors associated with these energies: silver for the Moon and yellow for the Sun.
Después de haber insertado las cuentas vamos a introducir los filamentos restantes por la cuenta grande así como vemos en la imagen y haremos un nudo sencillo que quede firme pero que las cuentas no queden apretadas.
After inserting the beads, we will introduce the remaining strands through the large bead as shown in the image and we will tie a simple knot so that it is firm but the beads are not tight.
Para realizar la borla me ayude con una tarjeta (en este caso utilice el arcano del tarot la estrella jejeje), y comienzo a dar vueltas con el hilo tantas según el grueso que le quiera dar a mi borla, en este caso no di tantas porque quería borlas sencillas.
To make the tassel help me with a card (in this case I used the tarot arcane the star hehehe), and I start spinning with the thread as many times as I want to give to my tassel, in this case I did not give so many because I wanted simple tassels.
Luego tomé un pedazo de hilo el cual con una aguja me ayude para meterlo entre las vueltas de hilo y la tarjeta, el mismo me va a servir para asegurar la borla a las cuentas.
Then I took a piece of thread which I used a needle to help me to put it between the thread and the card, it will be used to secure the tassel to the beads.
Ayudándome con un exacto voy a ir cortando uno de los extremos de estas vueltas que hice con el hilo.
helping me with an exacto I am going to cut one of the ends of these laps that I made with the thread.
Aseguro los filamentos con el pedazo de hilo que introduje al inicio y tomando otro pedazo voy a un poco más arriba de la mitad de los filamentos y al anudarlos me va a quedar como en la imagen.
I secure the strands with the piece of thread that I introduced at the beginning and taking another piece I go to a little above the middle of the strands and when I knot them it will look like in the image.
El hilo sobrante del primer nudo qué hice a la borla me va a servir para asegurarla a los filamentos por dónde inserte esa cuenta grande de mi escalera.
The leftover thread from the first knot I made to the tassel will be used to secure it to the strands where I will insert the large bead of my ladder.
Corto el hilo sobrante.
I cut the excess thread.
Repetí el proceso de la borla una vez más porque, como les comenté, estoy haciendo dos escaleras.
I repeated the tassel process one more time because, as I mentioned, I am making two ladders.
Y así me quedan mis escaleras del Sol y de la Luna.
And so I am left with my stairs of the Sun and the Moon.
Les dejo uno de los mantras que pueden utilizar para conectarse con estas energías.
Here is one of the mantras you can use to connect with these energies.
Para el Sol: saludo al de dorada cabellera.
Para la Luna: saludo a la caminante de la noche.
For the Sun: greeting to the one with golden hair.
For the Moon: greeting to the night walker.

Wow! I learned something new today! Actually, I have Japa mala beads I used for meditation. Its nice to know there are different tools that people can use to meditate. The stairways to gods that you made are beautiful.
Yes, the important thing here is to connect with the mantra when passing the beads, and doing our own Japa Mala or our own meditation tools aligns us more to the energy.
