Hola amigos de #Holos-Lotus. Llego hasta aquí motivada por @damarysvibra quien en su iniciativa # 19 nos invita a hablar sobre #Lo que ese libro nos dejó.
Una de las cosas que amo de esta comunidad es que desde que llegué me he sentido acogida en mi realidad permitiéndome ser sincera y transparente.
Hoy les quiero contar otra de mis verdades y el crecimiento que he experimentado en el transcurso de la vida.
La lectura no fue en mi una prioridad en mis años de juventud, mis padres apenas fueron alfabetizados y aunque sabían escribir, leer y hacer cuentas no inculcaron en nosotros el hábito por la lectura.
Así que crecimos mis dos hermanos y yo solamente leyendo los libros escolares.
No fue hasta que tuve 17 años que abrí un libro ajeno a la escuela. Ah, entonces capté como un destello deslumbrador la continuidad de un tema, era el enlace maravilloso de una narración. Debo ese instante a una obra de Arthur Conan Doyle. Suspensa, ávida llegué al final de la enredada trama, desde entonces la lectura es en mí una necesidad.
Quizás entre tantos libros importantes que han traído nuestros amigos a casa, hablar de un libro de aventuras como Sherlock Holmes, pueda parecer muy simple. La verdad es que yo veo gran importancia en este tipo de literatura, libros iniciáticos como dice mi hija, con demasiada azúcar pero que motivan, acercan a la lectura, cautivan para siempre y enseñan.
Con este libro aprendí la importancia de reparar en los detalles de la vida pues prestar atención a los pequeños detalles puede llevar a grandes descubrimientos.
Y así ha sido; ahora voy por el mundo de manera distinta. No es que vaya con una lupa como Sherlock, analizando a todo y a todos pero si prestando mucha atención a los detalles que antes me parecían sin importancia.
Por ejemplo pequeños análisis socioculturales como ver la parada llena y saber que los inspectores de tráfico están en la carretera chequeando las licencias y conduciones de los carros, o simplemente, complicabdo aun más la ya terrible situación del transporte.
Son éstas, conclusiones a las que llegamos por intuición? No, por observación. En mi roll de madre ha sido importante observar y reconocer a cada uno de mis hijos, sus caras de preocupación, sus estados de ánimo, ciertos olores. Estas señales bien comprendidas, nos permiten identificar el lugar donde han estado y con quien o quiénes.
Todo eso me lo dejó la lectura de las Aventuras de Sherlock Holmes.
Además de que me abrió las puertas a otras lecturas, menos didácticas quizás pero igual de necesarias.
Luego de este libro han llegado muchos más, menos o más importantes pero instructivos: las obras de José Martí, los poemas de Neruda, los cuentos de Horacio Quiroga y las novelas de Corín Tellado. Sé que mi selección no entraría nunca en la definición de clásicos o alta literatura, pero por ahí van, aportándonos ciertos saberes y mucha pasión qué, sin mi amado Sherlock Holmes, jamás hubiese descubierto.
Espero que mi pequeña experiencia como lectora, les haya gustado y les sirva de ayuda, aunque sea para reirse un poco.
