There's always been talk about setting an example or being someone's role model, but rarely has it been said how difficult it is to be that example.
Being an example means having people under your responsibility. Or sometimes it's not about people under your responsibility, but rather an art or a position, a position under your responsibility.
Being an example is being that person by whom others measure themselves, seeing you as that horizon to reach.
Being an example is sometimes synonymous with sacrifice, dedication, and good behavior.
You don't work or pursue your profession or career to be someone's example. However, it's inevitable that if you do your job well, if you're good at what you do, someone will see you as an example to follow.
However, if you do it in pursuit of fame and recognition from the public or your colleagues, you're going down the wrong path.
An artist works because they love what they do. I play the guitar because if I don't, I feel bad. I teach at school because I like to teach, to pass on the knowledge that other great masters before me have passed on to me.
You could feel proud of that, if you achieve it. In other words, you do your job well. But if you do it simply for the sake of being able to manipulate or pull the masses further down the wrong path.
It's neither right nor proper to do good in search of recognition or acceptance from the public, from anyone, not even from a single person.
The artist must be consistent with his work, his behavior, and the historical moment in which he lives.
The artist must be a moment on and off the stage. On and off the stage.
That's why being a role model is as complicated as putting together a new concert.
That's why I ask everyone to share their experiences about the responsibility of being a role model.
It's not easy, but at least try.

Siempre se ha hablado de dar un ejemplo o ser el ejemplo para alguien, pero pocas veces se ha dicho lo difícil que es ser ese ejemplo.
Ser un ejemplo conlleva a tener personas bajo tu responsabilidad. O a veces no está de personas bajo tu responsabilidad sino un arte o un puesto una posición bajo tu responsabilidad.
Ser un ejemplo es ser esa persona por la que otro se midan, te vean como aquel horizonte al que alcanzar.
Ser un ejemplo es a veces sinónimo de sacrificio, de entrega, dedicación, de buen comportamiento.
Uno no trabaja o realiza su profesión su carrera para ser el ejemplo de nadie. Sin embargo, es inevitable que, si haces bien tu trabajo, si eres buena en lo que haces, alguien te vea como un ejemplo a seguir.
Sin embargo, si lo haces en busca de tener esa fama y reconocimiento del público o de tus colegas, vas por el mal camino.
Un artista trabaja porque ama lo que hace. Yo toco la guitarra porque si no lo hago me siento mal. Doy clases en la escuela porque me gusta enseñar, transmitir ese conocimiento que otros grandes maestros antes de mí me han legado.
Podrías sentirte orgullosa de eso, en el caso que lo logres. O sea realizas bien tu trabajo. Pero si lo haces por el sencillo hecho de poder manipular o jalar a las masas más por el mal camino.
No está bien ni es correcto hacer el bien en busca de un reconocimiento o la aceptación del público, de alguien, ni siquiera de una sola persona.
El artista debe ser consecuente con su obra su comportamiento, con el momento histórico en el que vive.
El artista debe ser un momento dentro y fuera del escenario. Dentro y fuera de las letras.
Por ese motivo sé un ejemplo a seguir es algo tan complicado, como podría hacerlo montar un concierto nuevo.
Por eso motivo les pido a todos que compartan sus experiencias sobre la responsabilidad de ser un ejemplo a seguir.
No es fácil pero menos inténtelo.
Ya con el simple hecho de ser como eres, genuina y espontánea, ¡eres un ejemplo digno de aplaudir!
