Es un placer estar nuevamente con ustedes, en esta oportunidad para unirme a la interesante iniciativa que promueve la amiga @mosa71 la cual lleva por nombre "El regalo de coincidir- Programándonos para el bienestar".
It is a pleasure to be with you again, this time to join the interesting initiative promoted by our friend @mosa71 which is called "The gift of coincidence - Programming ourselves for wellness".

Coincidir es una de las cosas más maravillosas que nos ofrece la vida, es estar allí en el momento justo y el lugar preciso para que se den sucesos que suelen marcar nuestras vidas. En algunas ocasiones habrá coincidencias que no serán del todo agradables pero que suceden para dejarnos una gran lección de vida.
Coincidence is one of the most wonderful things that life offers us, it is to be there at the right time and the right place for events that usually mark our lives. Sometimes there will be coincidences that are not entirely pleasant but that happen to leave us with a great life lesson. .
En esos casos esa coincidencia que nos ha sucedido llegó a nuestras vidas para dejarnos un aprendizaje y como tal debemos ser capaces de aprender la lección y poder continuar hacia adelante. Pero también tenemos esos casos bellos donde la vida nos hace coincidir con personas realmente maravillosas, algunas de estas personas se quedarán con nosotros para el resto de nuestras vidas y otras estarán de manera fugaz, pero dejarán una huella imborrable y hermosos recuerdos.
In those cases that coincidence that has happened to us came into our lives to leave us a learning experience and as such we must be able to learn the lesson and be able to continue forward. But we also have those beautiful cases where life makes us coincide with really wonderful people, some of these people will stay with us for the rest of our lives and others will be fleeting, but will leave an indelible mark and beautiful memories.
A lo largo de mi vida he tenido muchas coincidencias, de ambos tipos por supuesto, que han marcado mi vida y me han ayudado a fortalecerme y a crecer como persona. Hace más de 15 años asistí a una fiesta a la que no quería ir, asistí obligada por mi mamá. ¿Porque no quería asistir? Bueno yo no conocía a la cumpleañera ni tampoco a su familia, por lo que pensé que pasaría la noche más aburrida de mi vida.
Throughout my life I have had many coincidences, of both types of course, that have marked my life and have helped me to strengthen and grow as a person. More than 15 years ago I attended a party that I didn't want to go to, I was forced by my mother. Why didn't I want to attend? Well, I didn't know the birthday girl or her family, so I thought I would have the most boring night of my life.
Resulta que allí conocí al hermano de la cumpleañera y la conexión fue inmediata tanto que pasamos la noche hablando y riendo por todo, esa persona es hoy en día mi esposo y compañero de vida. Gracias a esa coincidencia formamos una linda familia y me siento feliz rodeada del amor de mis hijos y mi esposo.
It turns out that there I met the birthday girl's brother and the connection was immediate so much that we spent the night talking and laughing about everything, that person is now my husband and life partner. Thanks to that coincidence we formed a beautiful family and I feel happy surrounded by the love of my children and my husband.
Y a veces me pregunto qué hubiera pasado si yo por caprichosa hubiese insistido en no asistir a esa fiesta, pero la realidad es que las cosas suceden siempre por algo como si nuestro destino estuviese escrito. Otro evento que marcó mi vida fue cuando mi esposo se vio obligado a viajar a otro estado por cuestiones de trabajo y una vez allá decidió que era mejor que toda la familia se mudara.
And sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I had insisted on not attending that party, but the reality is that things always happen for a reason as if our destiny was written. Another event that marked my life was when my husband was forced to travel to another state for work and once there he decided that it was better for the whole family to move.
Yo en realidad tenía mis dudas porque toda mi vida he vivido en la isla de Margarita y viajar a tierra firme para establecerme allá no estaba entre mis opciones, pero para permanecer unidos en familia decidí aceptar. Unos días antes de que yo viajara con mis hijos se me presentó un problema y no pude viajar, resulta que ese día mi esposo es atracado en su lugar de trabajo y fue una situación difícil y horrible donde mi esposo estuvo a punto de perder la vida.
I actually had my doubts because all my life I have lived in Margarita Island and traveling to the mainland to settle there was not among my options, but to stay together as a family I decided to accept. A few days before I was to travel with my children a problem arose and I could not travel, it turns out that that day my husband was mugged at his place of work and it was a difficult and horrible situation where my husband was about to lose his life.
En ese momento le dimos gracias a Dios y a la Virgen del Valle por esa casualidad que nos protegió, porque hubiésemos estado en ese lugar con mi esposo y hubiésemos presenciado ese horrible hecho. Y fue tanto el susto por el que pasó mi esposo que terminó renunciando a ese trabajo y regresándose a la isla de Margarita junto a sus seres queridos.
At that moment we thanked God and the Virgin of the Valley for that chance that protected us, because we would have been in that place with my husband and we would have witnessed that horrible event. And my husband was so scared that he ended up quitting that job and returning to Margarita Island with his loved ones.
Y es que así se presentan las coincidencias en nuestras vidas, como eventos repentinos que en ocasiones nos dejan sin habla y pensando qué hubiese pasado de no haber sucedido las cosas de la manera como pasaron. Yo siempre le voy a agradecer a la vida por haberme puesto en el camino ese obstáculo que me impidió viajar ese día protegiendo a mis hijos de pasar por un momento que los hubiera marcado de por vida.
And that is how coincidences in our lives present themselves, as sudden events that sometimes leave us speechless and wondering what would have happened if things had not happened the way they did. I will always be grateful to life for having put in my way that obstacle that prevented me from traveling that day, protecting my children from going through a moment that would have marked them for life.
Afortunadamente tenemos un ángel que nos protege y nos ubica en el espacio tiempo que debemos estar para cumplir con nuestro destino. Pienso que las coincidencias no son sucesos al azar sino más bien algo que debía suceder para evitar que nos desviemos del camino y que continuemos transitando por el camino que realmente nos corresponde.
Fortunately we have an angel that protects us and places us in the space-time we should be in to fulfill our destiny. I think that coincidences are not random events but rather something that had to happen to prevent us from deviating from the path and that we continue on the path that really corresponds to us.
