Hace año que no uso pendrive, eso desde que abandoné los cibercafés y desde que llegó mi bella laptop negra. ¿Pero qué pasó con esos archivos que guardaba en esos perolitos?
Antes de responder, te cuento que esos bichitos sí me servían de mucho, sobre todo porque viajaba constantemente atendiendo a clientes. Yo daba soporte tecnológico a empresas.
Mi trabajo me encantaba, me daba muchas satisfacciones. Me hacía viajar, esto era lo máximo, era conocer gente nueva, lugares hermosos y cada cliente y su negocio eran unos universos únicos en los que adquiría conocimientos y formas de ver el comercio. Yo les asistía, les instruía y ellos hacían lo suyo y de paso me pagaban.
Como les decía, llevaba mis pendrives y no porque eran muchos archivos, sino porque los botaba, los dejaba olvidados en algún lugar. Ese descuido me costó quitármelo y plata. Entonces los pendrives o memorias USB me daban la satisfacción de llevar mis herramientas de apoyo, pero tenía la gran insatisfacción de que más de una vez me quedaba sin ellos, ya sea porque los dejaba olvidados o porque se corrompía la información y me dejaban a pie. Así fue que me ayudé con CD´s regrabables y más memorias USB. En todos estaba la misma información.
Cuando llegó la negra Acer, eso fue para mí una bendición. Esa chica de 15 pulgadas de monitor me la llevaba para todos lados, era mi yeguita de batalla. Para ella le tenía un hermoso morral negro, especial para laptops, y junto con ella iban cables, conectores y otras cositas. Me sentía satisfecho con mis herramientas, me sirvieron de mucho, pero con el tiempo ese perolero comenzó a pesar o yo, como que le metía más cosas. Parecía que, mientras pasaban los días, más kilos agarraban. Se perecían a mí, más viejo, más pesado. Eso lo estoy arreglando. Nada más feo que un viejo con sobrepeso.
Entonces tenía que resolver eso de estar viajando con esos coroticos y para ello el universo me mandó un rayo de luz que me abrió el cerebro para recordar que estaba la nube. ¡Oh, mis oraciones habían llegado a su destino! La solución estaba arriba. ¡Santo remedio!
Ahora todo lo manejo en mis discos virtuales: Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox. No hace falta CD, ni pendrive, nada de aparaticos. Era suficiente con el teléfono móvil. Que si no fuera porque es una herramienta importante, ya lo hubiese botado. En realidad, uso mi teléfono más como un computador que como un teléfono. La satisfacción fue grande al ver que había resuelto esos problemitas para trabajar.
Soy un tipo servicial, me gusta ayudar a los demás, eso me crea una felicidad inmensa. Ver la sonrisa de alguien a quien he ayudado es una recompensa hermosa, y si la recompensa viene con un dinerito, pues la alegría es mayor.
A veces, en realidad pocas, me ha dado por hacer tutoriales en mis redes sociales. Trato de explicar de forma sencilla cómo se usa “x” o “y” plataforma, app o dispositivo. En un principio lo he hecho porque ando en la búsqueda de una comunidad virtual que contenga futuros clientes. Pero en el fondo está eso de ayudar.
En estos días una amiga me indicó que se abrieron las inscripciones para ser cavassador, un embajador de CANVA. Esta plataforma me encanta y todos los días aprendo algo nuevo de ella. Me ha resultado una herramienta efectiva y me ha ayudado a un nuevo emprendimiento que jamás soñé que tendría. Están llegando billeticos y eso, como sabemos, da muchas satisfacciones.
Cuando comencé a llenar la planilla para postularme como canvassador, me encontré con que debía indicar las redes sociales en donde publicaba tutoriales de CANVA. ¡Toñoñoño! Mis tutoriales de CANVA eran una miseria. ¿Cómo podía ser un embajador de la plataforma si solo tenía unos cuantos tutoriales?
Estoy casado de hacer portadas, flyers, tarjetas de invitación, de cumpleaños y pare de contar usando CANVA, pero en lo que respecta a tutoriales, estaba en déficit. La plataforma te pide que hagas por lo menos uno por mes en tus redes sociales, pero para que te vean hay que hacer más de uno. Bueno, me dije, vamos a luchar por ese objetivo que seguro me dará muchas satisfacciones abriendo muchísimas puertas.
Un pocotón de personas me han dicho a lo largo de mi vida que les gusta cómo explico las cosas. Tengo una serie de seguidores que siempre me buscan cuando no saben algo. Yo me empeño a darles soluciones a todos esos fans. Cuando trabajaba con Tito, nuestro lema era: "no hacemos milagros, pero lo imposible sí".
Pues en eso estoy de nuevo, voy a crear tutoriales que sean fácilmente digeribles para el que los vea o lea. Más que nada serán con imágenes, eso ayuda mucho a la hora del entendimiento.
El 20 de enero hice el primero y la red social que escogí fue: todas. Pero primero HIVE. Hice un video en donde explico cómo hacer un logo usando CANVA y gratis. Esto es para aquellos que tienen un emprendimiento, pero que el mismo no ha dado los frutos necesarios para pagar a un diseñador gráfico. Pueden pasar a verlo y me dirán qué les parece. Una vez pasadas 24 horas, lo publicaré en mis redes sociales de la web 2.
Inmediatamente que publiqué el video/tutorial del logo, me llegaron comentarios bellos por X y por el mismo HIVE. ¡WOW qué cosa tan maravillosa, qué satisfacción tan grande! Se los juro, yo no le apostaba un centavo a ese video. No sé por qué lo veía así y eso que lo hice con mucho amor.
En una de mis cuentas de X, unas amigas me escribieron que gracias al tutorial se iban a atrever a crear sus logos. Eso me llenó de felicidad. Yo estaba en la búsqueda de algo personal, algo para ser canvassador y resultó que lo que hice le sirve de herramienta a otros. Ahora estoy muy motivado para hacer los demás tutoriales. Voy a hacer uno por semana.
El dinero es importante, me crea muchas satisfacciones, me hace obtener cosas y momentos que quiero, pero algo que me emociona, que hace saltar mi corazón, es la sonrisa y/o el comentario de alguien que se siente feliz por algo que le he aportado. Eso sí que es una inmensa satisfacción.

I haven't used a pen drive for a year, since I left the Internet cafés and since my beautiful black laptop arrived. But what happened to those files I used to save in those little pearls?
Before answering, I will tell you that those little bugs benefitted me, especially because I constantly traveled to attend to clients. I gave technological support to companies.
I loved my job, it gave me a lot of satisfaction. It made me travel, which was the best thing, it was meeting new people and beautiful places, and each client and his business were unique universes in which I acquired knowledge and ways of seeing commerce. I helped them, I instructed them and they did their own thing and even paid me.
As I said, I took my pen drives with me and not because they were a lot of files, but because I threw them away, I left them forgotten somewhere. That carelessness cost me money. Then the pen drives or USB memories gave me the satisfaction of carrying my support tools, but I had great dissatisfaction that more than once I was left without them, either because I left them forgotten or because the information was corrupted and left me on my feet. So I helped myself with rewritable CDs and more USB sticks. They all had the same information on them.
When the black Acer arrived, that was a blessing for me. That 15-inch monitor girl I took with me everywhere, was my battle mare. I had a beautiful black backpack for her, especially for laptops, and along with her went cables, connectors, and other little things. I was satisfied with my tools, they served me well, but over time that bag began to weigh me down or I, as it were, put more things in it. It seemed that, as the days went by, the more kilos they took on. They looked like me, older, heavier. I'm fixing that. Nothing uglier than an overweight old man.
So I had to solve the problem of traveling with those devices and for that, the universe sent me a ray of light that opened my brain to remember that the cloud was there. Oh, my prayers had reached their destination! The solution was a floor above, holy cow!
Now I manage everything on my virtual drives: Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. No CD, no flash drive, no gadgets. It was enough with the cell phone. If it weren't for the fact that it is an important tool, I would have thrown it away by now. I use my phone more as a computer than as a phone. The satisfaction was great to see that I had solved those little problems to work.
I am a helpful guy, I like to help others, and that makes me immensely happy. Seeing the smile of someone I have helped is a beautiful reward, and if the reward comes with a little money, then the joy is even greater.
Sometimes, a few times, I've made tutorials on my social networks. I try to explain in a simple way how to use the “x” or “y” platform, app, or device. First,t I have done it because I'm looking for a virtual community that contains future customers. But at the end of the day, it's all about helping.
These days a friend told me that CANVA ambassador registrations are open. I love this platform and every day I learn something new from it. It has been an effective tool and has helped me to a new venture that I never dreamed of having. The accounts are coming out and that, as we know, gives many satisfactions.
When I started filling out the form to apply to be a CANVA ambassador, I found that I had to indicate the social networks where I posted CANVA tutorials. My CANVA tutorials were a pittance, how could I be an ambassador for the platform if I only had a few tutorials?
I'm married to making covers, flyers, invitation cards, birthday cards, and on and on using CANVA, but when it came to tutorials, I was at a deficit. The platform asks you to make at least one per month on your social networks, but to be seen you have to make more than one. Well, I said to myself, let's fight for this goal that will surely give me a lot of satisfaction and open many doors.
A few people have told me throughout my life that they like the way I explain things. I have several followers who always look for me when they don't know something. I make it a point to give solutions to all those fans. When I worked with Tito, our motto was: “We don't do miracles, but we do the impossible”.
Well, that's what I'm doing again, I'm going to create tutorials that are easily digestible for those who see or read them. Mostly they will be with images, which helps a lot when it comes to understanding.
On January 20th I did the first one and the social network I chose was: all of them. But first HIVE. I made a video where I explained how to make a logo using CANVA for free. This is for those of you who have a business venture but haven't borne the fruits necessary to pay a graphic designer. You can check it out and let me know what you think. Once 24 hours have passed, I will post it on my Web 2 social networks.
Immediately after I published the video/tutorial of the logo, I received beautiful comments from X and from HIVE itself, WOW what a wonderful thing to do, and what a great satisfaction! I swear, I didn't bet a penny on that video. I don't know why I looked at it that way and I did it with a lot of love.
In one of my X accounts, some friends wrote me that thanks to the tutorial they were going to dare to create their logos. That filled me with happiness. I was looking for something personal, something to be a canvassador and it turned out that what I did is a tool for others. Now I am very motivated to do the other tutorials. I'm going to do one a week.
Money is important, it creates many satisfactions for me, and it makes me get things and moments that I want, but something that moves me, that makes my heart jump, is the smile and/or the comment of someone who feels happy for something that I have contributed. That is immense satisfaction.

Hola @germanandradeg, que interesante todo lo que nos cuentas desde colocar todo lo que te interesa en la nube y despachar los pendrives, por supuesto me interesa el proceso, también lo del tutorial del logo porque aunque me gusta el que tengo, como dicen, el conocimiento no ocupa espacio y aprender a hacerlos me hace ilusión.

La semana que viene haré un video/tutorial que hable de cómo apoyarnos en la nube (discos virtuales) y así guardar nuestros archivos y a la vez acceder a ellos desde cualquier dispositivo y en cualquier parte del planeta en el que haya una señal de internet.
Con respecto al diseño de logos, en esta publicación coloqué el enlace al tutorial. Es importante destacar que el logo es la imagen de nuestra marca y crearlo, lleva un análisis de mercado, del producto que se ofrece, de los colores de la marca y otras cositas más que de eso se ocupan los diseñadores gráficos. Pero ellos cobran una buena plata y con muy buena razón. En mi tutorial de CANVA lo que planteo es hacer nuestro logo, pero como algo temporal. Es sobre todo para emprendedores pequeños o que están comenzando y que no tienen la capacidad monetaria para pagarle a un diseñador.
