¡Holaaa ¿Qué tal? mi gente bonita de Hive!
Como soy una chica joven y estoy iniciándome en el proceso de aprendizaje de muchas cosas, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi primera experiencia laboral de la ciudad donde vivo Maturin.
En el momento de la pandemia la vida nos cambio a todos, yo estaba iniciándome en la universidad, cursando mi primero año de estudio en administración de recursos humanos, como todos lo saben el país y el mundo quedo en suspenso y nos tuvimos que replegar en nuestros hogares.
Ya mencione antes que vivo solo con mi mamá, ella es una persona de la tercera edad y se dedica a una actividad comercial independiente.
Y en la pandemia, las personas de la tercera edad eran los mas afectados, no solo nos afecto en el miedo de contraer el virus, si no, también, en consumir todos los recursos económicos con que contábamos. Viéndome en la obligación de tener que emplearme para solucionar en mi casa.
La situación para mi no era fácil, porque me gradué con 16 años recién cumplidos y nunca necesite desenvolverme sola ni de salir ya que mi mamá era muy sobre protectora y ella cubría todos los gastos de la casa.
No conocía mas allá de la universidad, no salia en grupos de amigos y menos me había relacionado directamente con los adultos, esa época fue muy dificil y casi todos los compañeros de mi promoción, se vieron en la necesidad por optar por un empleo.
Se emplearon en farmacias y a través de ellos yo también conseguí un empleo en una farmacia, fue todo un reto.
Manejar caja, puntos de vente, inventario, medicamentos y equipo medico, etc.
Y me emplee en una farmacia céntrica muy concurrida, con mucho movimiento de publico en plena pandemia. A veces tenia que hacer hasta turnos nocturnos.
Al principio fue intimidante por el cambio brusco que dio mi vida, no solo por mis nuevas obligaciones si no por el nuevo ambiente desconocido y demandante que todos sabemos que puede llegar a ser.
Tuve suerte ya que algunos compañeros de trabajo me brindaron apoyo, me enseñaron y yo por ser la mas joven ellos me protegían. Fueron muy buenos compañeros de trabajo.
Poco a poco me fui adaptando al ambiente de trabajo, eramos en total 13 personas. Evaluaban nuestro desempeño laboral asignandonos primer lugar, segundo lugar y tercer lugar con pequeñas recompensas. Yo quede en el sexto lugar de 13 trabajadores en mis primeros días sin embargo eso no fue suficiente, y por un incidente con la gerente, decidió retirarme.
No se que fue mas traumatico, aprender y adaptarme a ese nuevo cambio en mi vida o la manera tan abrupta e inesperada como me retiraron.
Fue doloroso y preocupante, sin ninguna otra entrada económica, sin experiencia laboral... Llore mucho sintiéndome culpable, aun cuando no fue mi culpa. Mi mamá y amigos me consolaron por días también.
Pero esa experiencia fue muy importante en mi vida, tuve la valentía de arrojarme a hacer algo a temprana edad sin previo conocimiento, forzada por la situación pandemia.
A pesar de todo, de ahí salio una buena referencia para un segundo empleo que tuve, donde fue otra experiencia relevante, porque, aun que no tenia compañeros de trabajo, me dieron desde el segundo día la responsabilidad de atender sola durante todo un día un local de ventas de teléfonos.

Tuve que aprender marcas, modelos y equipos. Sin embargo tuve la suerte de trabajar con una persona muy humana que era consciente de mis limitaciones en ese momento y me apoyo.
Trabaje muchos meses mientras se solucionaba en mi casa la situación económica, mi mamá se volvió a incorporar al mercado laboral y yo decidí apoyarla a ella en su trabajo.
Quise contar esta historia porque tal vez otra persona se ha visto con una situación similar a la mía, saliendo a trabajar a temprana edad sin experiencia y con miedo. Pero esas experiencias son las que nos enseñan a crecer y nos fortalecen como personas.
Aprendí algo importante a cada lugar nuevo que vayamos siempre es una oportunidad de aprender de las situaciones y de las personas que nos rodean, es un proceso continuo, aun sigo aprendiendo.
Agradecida con las personas que me leen, dan su apoyo, gracias por hacerme sentir que no estoy sola.

Hello What's up, my beautiful people of Hive!
As I am a young girl and I am starting the process of learning many things, today I want to share with you my first work experience in the city where I live Maturin.
At the time of the pandemic life changed us all, I was starting my first year of college, studying my first year of study in human resources management, and as you all know the country and the world were suspended and we had to retreat to our homes.
I mentioned before that I live alone with my mother, she is a senior citizen and is dedicated to independent commercial activity.
And in the pandemic, the elderly were the most affected, not only in the fear of contracting the virus but also of consuming all the economic resources we had. I was forced to work to solve the problem at home.
The situation for me was not easy, because I graduated at the age of 16 and I never needed to manage on my own or go out because my mother was very protective and she covered all the expenses of the house.
I didn't know anything beyond the university, I didn't go out with groups of friends and I had never had any direct contact with adults, that time was very difficult, and almost all my classmates had to opt for a job.
They were employed in pharmacies and through them, I also got a job in a pharmacy, it was quite a challenge.
Handling cash register, point-of-sale, inventory, medications and medical equipment, etc.
And I was employed in a very busy downtown pharmacy, with a lot of public movement in the middle of the pandemic. Sometimes I even had to work night shifts.
At first, it was intimidating because of the sudden change in my life, not only because of my new obligations but also because of the new, unfamiliar and demanding environment that we all know how demanding can be.
I was lucky because some of my co-workers were supportive, they taught me and because I was the youngest, they protected me. They were very good coworkers.
Little by little I was adapting to the work environment, we were 13 people in total. They evaluated our work performance by assigning us first place, second place, and third place with small rewards. I was in sixth place out of 13 workers in my first days, but that was not enough, and because of an incident with the manager, she decided to retire me.
I don't know what was more traumatic, learning and adapting to this new change in my life or the abrupt and unexpected way I was removed.
It was painful and worrisome, with no other income, and no work experience. I cried a lot feeling guilty, even though it was not my fault. My mom and friends comforted me for days as well.
But that experience was very important in my life, I dared to throw myself into something at a young age without prior knowledge, forced by the pandemic situation.
Despite everything, that was a good reference for a second job I had, where it was another relevant experience, because, even though I had no coworkers, I was given from the second day the responsibility of attending alone for a whole day a telephone sales store.

I had to learn about brands, models, and equipment. However, I was fortunate to work with a very human person who was aware of my limitations at that time and supported me.
I worked for many months while the economic situation was being solved at home, my mother rejoined the labor market and I decided to support her in her work.
I wanted to tell this story because maybe someone else has been in a similar situation to mine, going out to work at a young age with no experience and with fear. But those experiences are what teach us to grow and strengthen us as people.
I learned something important, every new place we go is always an opportunity to learn from the situations and people around us, it is a continuous process, and I am still learning.

Muy interesante y bien contada en detalle tu experiencia y el cambio que experimentaste por motivo de pandemia que, sí es cierto, nos afectó a todos a nivel mundial.
