A lovely piece which stirs up childhood memories. There is indeed a simplicity which I so dearly miss. That being said, as a LGBTQIA+ individual.. the times which had the potential to be some of the happiest of my life, were also some of my saddest due to societal norms during the same period. Thanks for sharing the piece.
