Saludos hivers-lectores, el pasado miércoles 21 de julio se llevó a cabo el programa Coordenadas de Bienestar: Triada Esencial, de la Comunidad @holos-lotus, en donde @jaineth abordó el tema de la Auto-estima, Autoimagen y Autovalor. Fue un encuentro muy emotivo y enriquecedor.

Greetings hivers-readers, last Wednesday July 21 took place the program Coordenadas de Bienestar: Triada Esencial, of the @holos-lotus Community, where @jaineth addressed the topic of Self-esteem, Self-image and Self-value. It was a very emotional and enriching meeting.

Pensando sobre estos tres aspectos quiero compartir con ustedes unas reflexiones, que desde hace un tiempo, tengo en relación a esta temática.

Thinking about these three aspects, I would like to share with you some reflections that I have had for some time in relation to this subject.

Particularmente pienso que la autoestima como proceso que afirma o niega la valía personal necesariamente pasa por la relación con los otros. Estos otros son las personas significativas o no con las cuales interrelacionamos.

I particularly think that self-esteem as a process that affirms or denies personal worth necessarily passes through the relationship with others. These others are the significant or non-significant people with whom we interrelate.

Al nosotros ser seres sociales, nuestros significados, creencias, imaginarios, se construyen a partir del contacto con el entorno, con los otros, quienes reafirmaran, validaran o negaran nuestros autoconceptos. Ellos serían nuestros espejos.

As we are social beings, our meanings, beliefs, imaginaries, are built from contact with the environment, with others, who reaffirm, validate or deny our self-concepts. They would be our mirrors.

Desde el mismo momento de la gestación inicia el proceso de construcción de nuestra valía como personas. ¿Somos producto de una relación amorosa? ¿Somos deseados por nuestros padres? ¿El embarazo siguió un curso saludable o se presentaron complicaciones de origen social?

From the very moment of gestation, the process of constructing our value as persons begins. Are we the product of a loving relationship? Are we desired by our parents? Did the pregnancy follow a healthy course or were there complications of social origin?

En el curso de la infancia y la adolescencia van surgiendo un sinfín de situaciones que van moldeando nuestra personalidad, sumado a los factores biológicos que tenemos producto de los procesos genéticos propios de la unión de nuestros padres.

In the course of childhood and adolescence, an endless number of situations arise that shape our personality, in addition to the biological factors that we have as a result of the genetic processes inherent to the union of our parents.

El contacto con los compañeros de clases en el liceo y en los grupos donde participamos, junto con las redes sociales y los medios de comunicación, van moldeando de una u otra forma nuestra manera de ser, de pensar, de sentir y de percibir la realidad. De toda esta mezcla se van construyendo nuestras creencias y actitudes hacia nosotros mismos, hacia los demás y hacia las cosas que nos rodean.

Contact with classmates in high school and in the groups in which we participate, together with social networks and the media, mold in one way or another our way of being, thinking, feeling and perceiving reality. From all this mixture, our beliefs and attitudes towards ourselves, towards others and towards the things that surround us are built.

Por otra parte, las eventualidades, los imprevistos de la vida pueden incidir en las maneras como nos valoramos. Las pérdidas de los seres queridos o el vivenciar situaciones catastróficas pueden cambiarnos la manera como nos vemos. De ahí la importancia de contar con una red de apoyo social que nos permitan salir adelante a pesar de las circunstancias.

On the other hand, the eventualities, the unforeseen events of life can affect the way we value ourselves. The loss of loved ones or experiencing catastrophic situations can change the way we see ourselves. Hence the importance of having a social support network that allows us to move forward despite the circumstances.

Reflexionando acerca de todo este proceso vivencial pienso que la autoestima es un proceso dialectico entre el individuo y su entorno. No es un proceso que se realiza solo desde el interior de la persona, distanciada de los demás, diciéndose o sintiéndose importante o valiosa. Implica una retroalimentación entre el yo y los otros, mediado por las circunstancias de la vida y los aspectos sociohistóricos y geográficos del momento que estamos viviendo.

Reflecting on this whole experiential process, I think that self-esteem is a dialectical process between the individual and his or her environment. It is not a process that takes place only from within the person, distanced from others, telling oneself or feeling important or valuable. It implies a feedback between the self and others, mediated by the circumstances of life and the sociohistorical and geographical aspects of the moment we are living.

En el encuentro realizado en el programa de Coordenadas de Bienestar sentí y percibí como fluyó la energía positiva entre todos los que participamos, dando como resultado un enlazamiento vibracional en la dirección de los tres puntos tocados por @jaineth.

In the meeting held in the Coordenadas de Bienestar program I felt and perceived how the positive energy flowed among all of us who participated, resulting in a vibrational linkage in the direction of the three points touched by @jaineth.

Desde mi punto de vista la autoestima, autoimagen y el autovalor están imbricados dialécticamente con los otros y el entorno. En la película El Náufrago, más o menos se visualiza esto. La estabilidad emocional y psicológica tiene que ver con la presencia del otro significativo. Si no existe lo creamos dándole vida a cosas inanimadas o a través de la imaginación, en donde creamos un mundo irreal.

From my point of view, self-esteem, self-image and self-worth are dialectically intertwined with others and the environment. In the movie The Castaway, this is more or less visualized. Emotional and psychological stability has to do with the presence of the significant other. If it does not exist, we create it by giving life to inanimate things or through imagination, where we create an unreal world.
