Saludos amigos de la comunidad @holos-lotus, nuevamente paso por acá para participar en esta iniciativa que nos trae nuestra amiga @charjaim, Esa Vida Nuestra "¿Cuál fue el regalo más grande que te dieron tus padres?" en su edición Número 30.
Hablar de esa vida que tenemos, de eso que nuestros padres nos han dado es dar a conocer un poco de nosotros mismos, y en especial decir todas esas cosas que aprendimos de ellos y que vimos desde que éramos muy pequeños. El regalo más grande que ellos nos pueden dar dentro de los valores es fundamentalmente el del trabajo.
Creo que todas estas cosas se van adquiriendo a medida que vamos creciendo y alcanzando metas, desde que somos muy pequeños nos enseñan el valor a la convivencia, a la tolerancia, el siempre ayudar al prójimo, y sobre todo aprender a compartir con nuestros hermanos, ser unidos, trabajar por lo que queremos, y sobre todo ser personas muy humildes.
De cada uno de nuestros padres sacamos algo y pienso que se heredan los caracteres, o simplemente se aprenden. De mi mamá tengo la humildad y el amor al trabajo, un valor súper importante, y de mi padre podría decir que prácticamente vi lo mismo, pero sobre todo esa transparencia y amor por lo que hací. Me enseñó a ganarme las cosas por mis propios medios, a trabajar por mis sueños y a luchar por lo que quería, desde muy joven siempre lo escuchaba repetir y una y otra vez que estudiara y trabajara, para que obtuviera todas esas cosas que me gustaban, comprándolas por mis propios medios, sin tener que esperar que nadie me las diera, un consejo que me ayudo mucho al llegar a la madurez.
De mi padre heredé también el amor al trabajo, al comercio, era un hombre emprendedor, que le gustaba mucho las ventas. Tenía una bodega bien surtida donde vendía de todo un poco, en la época en que yo nací, me cuenta mi madre que los barcos atracaban frente a nuestra casa, y él era proveedor de todas esas personas que venían a comprar a orillas del río Apure. Vendía desde un alfiler, hasta bultos de harina pan, pasta, arroz, aceite, granos, productos de aseo personal, y pare usted de contar, fue una niñez muy hermosa la que viví al lado de ese señor de cabello blanco, quien me enseño junto a mi madre infinidad de cosas, que me han servido a lo largo de mi vida.
Mi padre, aparte de consentirnos tenía un carácter fuerte, y siempre que nos regañaba también nos daba consejos tanto a mi hermano como a mí, eramos mi hermana mayor, mi hermano quizás de 9 años y yo de 8, no recuerdo muy bien, los dos hacíamos tremenduras y a los dos nos regañaban por igual y nos arrodillaban para aconsejarnos.
Mi padre siempre nos dejaba cuidando la bodega, y nos enseñaba cómo debíamos atender a los clientes que llegaban a comprar, éramos muy pequeños y todavía no conocíamos muy bien de números, simplemente atendíamos y luego lo llamábamos a él para que sacara la cuenta. De él desarrollé el carisma y el amor al trabajo algo muy importante que me dejo de regalo, lo conservo muy bien.
El comercio, siempre ha sido algo que me ha llamado la atención, antiguamente tenía una bodega en casa de mi mamá la cual atendía y me generaba un ingreso diario, pero luego la cerré por problemas personales y ahora me dedico a realizar ventas a empresas privadas que nos dan un determinado tiempo para recoger el dinero y esto también me genera algo de ingreso extra.
Cada uno de los oficios que aprendí de ambos, me han servido en la vida para defenderme y obtener las cosas que deseo, y claro está, que también la motivación de las personas de mi entorno me ha ayudado mucho para lograr alcanzar cada una de las cosas que deseo.
Es muy agradable poder ver que de tantas cosas que vimos a nuestros padres realizar, de cada uno agarramos algo y lo fuimos desarrollando a medida que íbamos creciendo y deseamos que esto vaya pasando a futuras generaciones. Los valores de la humildad, la convivencia, el amor al trabajo, la honestidad, la unión, y todas esas cosas que nuestros padres nos enseñaron pasa al siguiente grupo de personas que viene detrás, como lo son: nuestros sobrinos, nietos, y demás personas que van formándose.
Entonces podría decir que el regalo más grande que obtuve de mis padres es el amor al trabajo, a no estancarme esperando que otro me solucione la vida, a luchar por todo eso que deseo sin mirar atrás, ayudar al prójimo sin esperar nada a cambio, amar a mis hermanos y familiares, a creer en mi, y también a jamás rendirme ante la adversidad, y luchar siempre por obtener lo que quiero.

Talking about that life we have, about what our parents have given us is to reveal a little about ourselves, and especially to say all those things that we learned from them and that we saw since we were very young. The greatest gift that they can give us within the values is fundamentally that of work.
I believe that all these things are acquired as we grow and reach goals, from when we are very young they teach us the value of coexistence, tolerance, always helping others, and above all learning to share with our brothers, being united, working for what we want, and above all being very humble people.
We get something from each of our parents and I think that characters are inherited, or simply learned. From my mother I have humility and love for work, a super important value, and from my father I could say that I practically saw the same, but above all that transparency and love for what I did. He taught me to earn things by my own means, to work for my dreams and to fight for what I wanted. From a very young age I always heard him repeat over and over again that I should study and work, so that I could obtain all those things that I liked, buying them by my own means, without having to wait for anyone to give them to me, advice that helped me a lot when I reached maturity.
From my father I also inherited the love of work, of commerce. He was an enterprising man who really liked sales. He had a well-stocked store where he sold a bit of everything. At the time I was born, my mother tells me that the ships docked in front of our house, and he was the supplier of all those people who came to buy on the banks of the Apure River. He sold everything from a pin to bags of flour, bread, pasta, rice, oil, grains, personal hygiene products, and so on. It was a very beautiful childhood that I lived next to that white-haired man, who taught me, along with my mother, countless things that have served me throughout my life.
My father, apart from spoiling us, had a strong character, and whenever he scolded us he also gave advice to my brother and me. My sister was older, my brother was perhaps 9 years old and I was 8, I don't remember very well, we both did terrible things and we were both scolded equally and we were made to kneel down to give us advice.
My father always left us to take care of the wine cellar, and he taught us how to serve the customers who came to buy. We were very young and we still didn't know numbers very well, we simply served and then we called him to do the bill. From him I developed the charisma and love of work, something very important that he left me as a gift, I keep it very well.
Commerce has always been something that has caught my attention. I used to have a grocery store at my mother's house that I ran and it generated a daily income for me, but then I closed it due to personal problems and now I make sales to private companies that give us a certain amount of time to collect the money and this also generates some extra income for me.
Each of the trades that I learned from both of them have helped me in life to defend myself and obtain the things that I want, and of course, the motivation of the people around me has also helped me a lot to achieve each of the things that I want.
It is very nice to see that from so many things that we saw our parents do, we took something from each one and we developed it as we grew up and we wish that this will be passed on to future generations. The values of humility, coexistence, love of work, honesty, unity, and all those things that our parents taught us are passed on to the next group of people who come after us, such as: our nephews, grandchildren, and other people who are being educated.
So I could say that the greatest gift I received from my parents is the love of work, not to stagnate waiting for someone else to solve my life, to fight for everything I want without looking back, to help others without expecting anything in return, to love my brothers and family, to believe in myself, and also to never give up in the face of adversity, and to always fight to get what I want.
