Querido lector, estas semanas hemos estado analizando cómo dilucidar en nosotros un propósito inspirador, que se convierta en el núcleo y cables de nuestra energía, porque no tenerlo, inevitablemente llevará a un desperdicio de ella y casi siempre a la deriva. Para ello no es solo valiosa una visión del futuro sino que además sea sostenible. Informarse para ello no es tarea fácil. Vale la pena preguntarse si el sistema educativo de tu país tiene la capacidad de lograr eso. Desde luego, ninguna información tiene sentido sin un propósito para obtenerla.
Hoy quiero hablarte más bien de un aspecto más formativo.
Ahora que hemos descubierto nuestro propósito... ¿Somos capaces de lograrlo?
Suponte que deseo estudiar programación, estimado lector. Necesitaré para ello contar con mucha capacidad de concentración, de otro modo jamás lograré motivarme para lograrlo sino un poco tiempo por vez porque me resultará fisicamente doloroso crear algo desde cero.
Si quiero ser empresario necesito ser tolerante, justo, flexible y también íntegro. Muchos son los empresarios que terminan llevando a sus empresas a la quiebra e incluso países donde desfalcar tu propia empresa es una práctica habitual a través de cuestionables prácticas de contaduría.
¿Pero qué tal si no tengo la concentración, ni la integridad para lograr estos objetivos?
Pues lo más probable es que terminemos por no lograrlos o peor todavía, que los hagamos mal y terminemos perjudicando a otros.
Consecuencias
Honestamente, las personas piensan con mucha ingenuidad que solo basta capital para tener un negocio. No sorprende que se crea que es incluso una cuestión de genio o de genética que hayan personas capaces de llevar un negocio exitoso, porque requiere de cosas que hoy en día no abundan.
En cambio lo que abundan son negocios con jefes maltratadores e irresponsables. Sus negocios se mantienen exactamente igual a lo largo del tiempo porque lo poco que generan lo devoran ellos mismos y eventualmente se sumen en el fracaso. Esta obviedad, encima, hace que ellos tiendan a aprovecharse de cualquier circunstancia para aprovecharse de sus trabajadores y especialmente donde un estado es ausente, como en Venezuela, de donde vengo, simplemente quedan impune.
¿Mi obstáculo personal? La ansiedad social. Obviamente, para ayudar a las personas tengo que tratar directamente con ellas. Todo mi blog puede resumirse a mi intención dual tanto de encontrar la manera de superar la ansiedad como de brindar estrategias referentes a su superación.
Desde luego, ese no es el único, desarrollar la empatía de un modo saludable, aprender a diálogar para que la persona se comprenda a sí misma a través de una secuencia de contextos o palabras. Paciencia. Otras virtudes que puedo desarrollar desde antes que tenga mi título.
Ahora, te invito a que te preguntes, estimado lector, ¿Qué es lo que te ha estado impidiendo conseguir tus objetivos?
Es verdad que en la vida hay tempestades, pero a veces ser un marinero preparado para afrontarlas puede marcar la diferencia.
Practicando
Tómate unos minutos, no en odiarte o despreciarte por tus errores, sino poner esos momentos recurrentes que persisten en tu vida y que te han detenido. Es importante reconocer nuestra responsabilidad en las cosas que nos ocurrieron. Si tienes tiempo, escríbelas en una hoja en blanco, y a un lado coloca también tus virtudes.
Una vez que las tengas allí frente a ti y fuera de ti, considera si es posible lidiar con ellas. Hoy día, hay una respuesta para todo. Vale la pena apartar algo de tiempo en mejorar, porque en un mundo competitivo, donde la mayoría hace las cosas de forma normal, siempre marca puntos ser aunque sea un poco mejor. ¿No te parece así?

Dear reader, these weeks we have been analyzing how to elucidate in ourselves an inspiring purpose, which becomes the core and cables of our energy, because not having it will inevitably lead to a waste of it and almost always adrift. For this, not only is a vision of the future valuable but it must also be sustainable. Getting informed for this is not an easy task. It is worth asking yourself if the educational system in your country has the capacity to achieve this. Of course, no information makes sense without a purpose to obtain it.
Today I want to talk to you about a more formative aspect.
Now that we have discovered our purpose... Are we capable of achieving it?
Suppose I want to study programming, dear reader. I will need to have a lot of ability to concentrate, otherwise I will never be able to motivate myself to achieve it except for short bursts at a time because it will be physically painful for me to create something from scratch.
If I want to be an entrepreneur I need to be tolerant, fair, flexible and also honest. Many entrepreneurs end up bankrupting their companies and even countries.
But what if I don't have the concentration or integrity to achieve these goals?
Well, most likely we will end up not achieving them or worse, we will do them badly and end up harming others.
Consequences
Honestly, people naively think that all you need is capital to run a business. It's not surprising that people believe that it's even a matter of genius or genetics that there are people capable of running a successful business, because it requires things that aren't abundant today.
On the other hand, what abounds are businesses with abusive and irresponsible bosses. Their businesses remain exactly the same over time because the little they generate is devoured by themselves and eventually they sink into failure. This obvious fact, on top of that, makes them tend to take advantage of any circumstance to take advantage of their workers and especially where a state is absent, as in Venezuela, where I come from, they simply go unpunished.
My personal obstacle? Social anxiety. Obviously, to help people I have to deal directly with them. My entire blog can be summed up as my dual intention of both finding a way to overcome anxiety and providing strategies regarding overcoming it.
Of course, that is not the only one, developing empathy in a healthy way, learning to dialogue so that the person understands themselves through a sequence of contexts or words. Patience. Other virtues that I can develop from before I have my degree.
Now, I invite you to ask yourself, dear reader, what has been preventing you from achieving your goals?
It is true that there are storms in life, but sometimes being a sailor prepared to face them can make all the difference.
Practicing
Take a few minutes, not to hate or despise yourself for your mistakes, but to put those recurring moments that persist in your life and that have stopped you. It is important to recognize our responsibility in the things that happened to us. If you have time, write them down on a blank sheet of paper, and put your virtues on the side as well.
Once you have them there in front of you and outside of you, consider whether it is possible to deal with them. Nowadays, there is an answer for everything. It is worth setting aside some time to improve, because in a competitive world, where most people do things in a normal way, it always scores points to be even a little better. Don't you think so?
