Hola gente bonita de Hive 😊 en este artÃculo quisiera presentarte brevemente nuestras dos mentes, no has leÃdo mal, no he dicho la mente he dicho las 2 mentes.
Por lo general se habla de la mente como una, como ese algo que se suele asociar a nuestro cerebro y a la que se le alaga por ser responsable de lograr grandes cosas o se le juzga por ser tan testaruda y hacernos sufrir.
Hello beautiful people of Hive 😊 in this article I would like to briefly introduce you to our two minds, you have not read wrong, I did not say the mind I said the 2 minds.
Usually we talk about the mind as one, as that something that is usually associated with our brain and which is praised for being responsible for achieving great things or judged for being so stubborn and making us suffer.
Pero en realidad tenemos 2 mentes que son independientes pero que a su vez pueden interactuar entre ellas, se trata de la mente consciente y la mente inconsciente o también llamada subconsciente, para efectos de este artÃculo nos referiremos a la segunda como mente subconsciente. Entremos a detalle sobre algunas caracterÃsticas de cada una de ellas.
But in reality we have 2 minds that are independent but at the same time can interact with each other, we are talking about the conscious mind and the unconscious mind or also called subconscious, for the purposes of this article we will refer to the second one as subconscious mind. Let's go into detail about some characteristics of each of them.
La Mente consciente
es aquella a través de la cual ejercemos nuestra capacidad de razonar, analizar, planificar. Es donde reside nuestra voluntad, es con la que podemos deliberadamente enfocarnos en los pensamientos positivos que tanto se desean mantener, se encarga de los anhelos, deseos y aspiraciones personales.
Tiene el poder de viajar al pasado y al futuro, está asociada principalmente a la actividad de procesamiento de nuestros lóbulos pre-frontales; tienen un nivel de procesamiento de 40 estÃmulos por segundo y representa el 5% de nuestra mente global.
The Conscious Mind is the one through which we exercise our ability to reason, analyze, plan. It is where our will resides, it is the one with which we can deliberately focus on the positive thoughts that we want so much to maintain, it is in charge of our personal yearnings, desires and aspirations.
It has the power to travel to the past and future, it is mainly associated with the processing activity of our pre-frontal lobes; it has a processing level of 40 stimuli per second and represents 5% of our global mind.
Ahora hablemos un poco de la Mente Subconsciente.
Es aquel 95% de nuestra mente con un nivel de procesamiento de 40 millones de estÃmulos por segundo, es nuestro banco de memorias y patrones de creencias y responde ante las señales internas y externas de manera mecánica y refleja basándose en su programación.
Funciona en el ahora y sus conceptos, aunque puede que sean erróneos, no son monitorizados y de acuerdo a su contenido suelen llevarnos de manera automática a comportamientos que no necesariamente son los que deseamos.
It is that 95% of our mind with a processing level of 40 million stimuli per second, it is our bank of memories and belief patterns and responds to internal and external signals in a mechanical and reflexive way based on its programming.
It works in the now and its concepts, although they may be erroneous, are not monitored and according to their content they tend to lead us automatically to behaviors that are not necessarily the ones we want.
Una de las cosas más interesantes de esta información es que si los deseos y planificaciones que tiene nuestra mente consciente entran en conflicto con la programación del subconsciente ¿Cuál crees que terminara ganando?
A su vez, se considera que de ese 5% que conforma nuestra mente consciente, solo estamos en el presente en un 5% del tiempo y por ente al estar ausentes atendiendo el pasado o futuro, se activa el piloto automático, es decir, nuestra mente subconsciente toma el mando, respondiendo de manera refleja y automática en base a sus programas.
One of the most interesting things about this information is that if the desires and planning that our conscious mind has come into conflict with the programming of the subconscious, which one do you think will end up winning?

BastarÃa con que al ducharte o cepillarte los dientes decidas hacerlo de forma consciente y deliberada, realizando cada movimiento con total atención.
And here I end this post, inviting you to perform a brief exercise where you can realize for yourself the existence of your two minds.
It would be enough if when you take a shower or brush your teeth you decide to do it consciously and deliberately, making each movement with full attention.
Puede que te des cuenta de dos cosas principalmente:
Una es que te parecerá muy extraño y te percatarás de que anteriormente ni te dabas cuenta de lo que hacÃas porque te bañabas o cepillabas en piloto automático.
Y lo la otra es que puede que te percates que aun cuando has decidido prestar toda tu atención te sorprenda el que por lapsos de tiempo tu mente se ha centrado en pensamientos e historias del pasado o futuro, muchas de ellas sin sentido alguna.
You may notice two things mainly:
- One is that it will seem very strange and you will realize that previously you were not even aware of what you were doing because you were bathing or brushing on autopilot.
- And the other thing is that you may realize that even when you have decided to pay full attention you may be surprised that for periods of time your mind has been focused on thoughts and stories of the past or future, many of them without any sense.
