[ESP/ENG]. ¿Quién soy? (8) Lo que más me gusta de mí

De las cosas que pueda destacar de mi personalidad hay una que destaca por encima de todas y que me gusta hacerlo: Ayudar a mi familia.

Mi familia no es muy numerosa. Somos seis hermanos y 10 sobrinos.

Además, están los padres de mi esposo y sus tres hermanos. Ni mi esposo ni yo pudimos tener hijos, pero, nuestros sobrinos se han convertidos en esos hijos que quisimos tener y no pudimos.

Si usted le pregunta a uno de mis hermanos o sobrinos cuál es la hermana o la tía a la que más acuden para pedir ayuda la respuesta es mi nombre.

No sé de dónde salió esa vocación. Debe ser que siempre se me dieron bien las relaciones comerciales y negocios y eso me daba la posibilidad de ayudar a mi familia que, en su gran mayoría son personas carentes de riquezas y recursos económicos.

En la misma medida que la situación económica del país se iba agudizando se me hacía más difícil poder ayudarlos y en el 2023 decidí buscar un futuro mejor y un lugar desde donde pudiera trabajar, ganar algún dinero y enviarles dinero y alimentos a mis familiares.

Debo decir que en este año y medio que llevo viviendo he podido ayudar a mi familia con alimentos, medicina, ropa y dinero. Mi hermano mayor me pide que no siga enviando dinero y que logre reunir un capital, pero, si no los ayudo a ellos mi vida carece de sentido.

Recientemente fue la fiesta de los quince años de mi sobrina menor. Me dolió mucho no poder estar junto a ella, pero, le envié a mi hermano el dinero para pagar las fotos, unas mudas de ropas para la niña y dos pares de zapatos.

Otras de las ayudas importantes han sido en las comunicaciones y hemos podido enviarle teléfonos a los miembros de la familia que no tenían o mejorar los que estaban en peores condiciones.

Me gusta enviarles ayuda los días de su cumpleaños y cuando gano algún dinero estoy pensando la manera de su mejor utilización y beneficios.
Algunas amistades me preguntaban por qué ayudar tanto y no preocuparme más de mí. A estas personas siempre les decía que lo más valioso que tengo en la vida es mi familia y verlos alegres y felices es mi mayor divisa.

El otro elemento que me dicen es que podría haber tenido acumulada una gran riqueza, si en vez de ayudar a mi familia hubiera decidido poner el dinero en el banco. Lo que muchos no saben es que mi mayor felicidad es ayudar a los míos y ver la felicidad que desbordan sus almas cuando pueden tener acceso a una mejor alimentación, pasar un mejor cumpleaños o sencillamente, tener una ayuda familiar para intentar llegar a fin de mes.

Yo seguiré siendo fiel a mis principios y continuaré ayudando a los míos hasta que la vida y la salud lo permitan.

Of the things that I can highlight about my personality, there is one that stands out above all and that I like to do: Helping my family.

My family is not very large. We are six brothers and 10 nephews. Plus, there are my husband's parents and his three brothers. Neither my husband nor I could have children, but our nephews have become those children that we wanted to have but couldn't.

If you ask one of my brothers or nephews which sister or aunt they go to most for help, the answer is my name.

I don't know where that vocation came from. It must be that I was always good at commercial and business relationships and that gave me the possibility of helping my family, the vast majority of whom are people lacking wealth and economic resources.

To the same extent that the country's economic situation was worsening, it became more difficult for me to help them and in 2023 I decided to look for a better future and a place from where I could work, earn some money and send money and food to my relatives.

I must say that in this year and a half that I have been living I have been able to help my family with food, medicine, clothing and money. My older brother asks me not to continue sending money and to raise capital, but if I don't help them my life has no meaning.

Recently it was my youngest niece's fifteenth birthday party. It hurt me a lot not to be able to be with her, but I sent my brother the money to pay for the photos, a few changes of clothes for the girl and two pairs of shoes.

Other important help has been in communications and we have been able to send telephones to family members who did not have them or improve those who were in worse conditions.

I like to send them help on their birthdays and when I earn some money I am thinking about the best way to use it and benefit it.
Some friends asked me why I should help so much and not worry more about myself. I always told these people that the most valuable thing I have in life is my family and seeing them happy and happy is my greatest asset.

The other element that they tell me is that I could have accumulated great wealth if, instead of helping my family, I had decided to put the money in the bank. What many do not know is that my greatest happiness is helping my loved ones and seeing the happiness that their souls overflow when they can have access to better food, have a better birthday or simply have family help to try to make ends meet.

I will remain faithful to my principles and will continue to help mine as long as life and health allow.
