Hola y saludos a todos nuevamente generando ideas a través de los recuerdos que nos propone nuestra querida @charjaim ¿Cuál fue el regalo más grande que te dieron tus padres?

Los padres son nuestra fuente de sabiduría y conocimiento en la vida de cada uno porque ellos aportan lo mejor, de la educación y la enseñanza,

en mi caso mi mamá tenía el don de la palabra, era muy elocuente, capaz de hablarte por horas sin perder la esencia de la conversación, pero tenía la habilidad en las manos

Ella tenía se maquina de coser, la cuidaba como la niña de sus ojos, nos vestía a todos los hijos y sobrinos, pero sobre todo le gustaba coser prendas masculinas, PERO SU DON ERA ENSEÑAR,

le gustaba que todas las mujeres de la familia tuviéramos al menos el mínimo de conocimiento de como reconocer una prenda, pues ella explicaba que las prendas no es su valor, sino que revisando las costuras, el reconoces un tipo de tela, el corte de la misma sabrás si vale lo que cuesta.

Por tanto, de ella adquirir el don , enseñar, trasmitir, de leer, de aprender, en múltiples ocasiones me he visto haciendo limpieza general, descubro una revista y la leo y de estudiar porque lo complemente con la frase de mi padre que el saber no ocupa espacio.

Para mí ha sido el mayor regalo; sin embargo, solo sé hilar la aguja, hasta los hombres en la familia han tenido la facilidad de coser al límite que se han convertido en sastres y tapiceros de mueble.

Su lema, una prenda sencilla, pero limpia y bien cosida, dice mucho de una persona.

Sin embargo, conservo de ella la última prenda que me cosió para mi cumpleaños y una muñeca que ella me contaba cada vez que la veía que para poder regalármela, cuando llego el momento de los Reyes Magos y el país, atravesaba una gran crisis, se tomó como reto coser una canastilla completa, con sus respectivos bordados en dos días.

Esa muñeca ha estado adornando la casa por 50 años, ya mi mamá no esta y continuamos repitiendo la historia a cada uno de la casa, los jóvenes de hoy en muchas ocasiones ,nos dicen que seguimos con el mismo tema,

pero yo le explico a mis sobrinos que el tema no es la muñeca, sino, la capacidad de sacrificio y esfuerzo para adquirir las cosas, lo importante que estresarse un objetivo y trabajar para ello.

Que la marcas de las prendas no te definen como persona ,la sencillez y la humildad es lo que debe primar en el ser humano.

Que en muchos casos hacemos gastos innecesarios, cuando podemos con nuestro esfuerzo y sacrificio obtenerlo con un gasto ínfimo, sino, no existiría en los mercados, las copias de los originales.

Hoy el mundo está envuelto en el consumismo y no valoramos los regalos, esos que son dados desde el corazón, o lo llamamos pequeños detalles, sin reconocer el esfuerzo realizado para que llegara a nuestras manos.

Therefore, from her I acquired the gift of teaching, transmitting, reading, learning, on multiple occasions I have seen myself doing general cleaning, I discover a magazine and I read it and study because I complement it with the phrase of my father that knowledge does not take up space.

For me it has been the greatest gift; however, I only know how to spin the needle, even the men in the family have had the facility to sew to the limit that they have become tailors and upholsterers of furniture.

Her motto, a simple garment, but clean and well sewn, says a lot about a person.

However, I keep from her the last garment she sewed for my birthday and a doll that she told me every time I saw her that in order to give it to me, when it was time for the Three Wise Men and the country was going through a great crisis, she took it as a challenge to sew a complete layette, with their respective embroidery in two days.

That doll has been decorating the house for 50 years, my mother is no longer here and we continue repeating the story to everyone in the house, today's young people often tell us that we continue with the same theme, but I explain to my nephews that the issue is not the doll, but the ability to sacrifice and effort to acquire things, the important thing to stress a goal and work for it.

That the brands of the clothes do not define you as a person, simplicity and humility is what should prevail in the human being.
That in many cases we make unnecessary expenses, when we can with our effort and sacrifice obtain it with a minimal expense, otherwise, it would not exist in the markets, the copies of the originals.

Today the world is wrapped in consumerism and we do not value the gifts, those that are given from the heart, or we call it small details, without recognizing the effort made to reach our hands.
