It was a fairly cold weekend for Caribbean afternoons, with relatively high waves that jumped over the breakwater of the portion of the coast where we went to conclude our marathon sequence of dresses and photos. Fernanda has a temper for cold water that I don't have, thank goodness she was the one who had to get wet. I quickly placed my external flash with the counterweight near the girl and began to give instructions, we took several photos of each pose. The flash at full power already took 3 or 4 seconds to recharge, which seemed like an eternity to us: for me because I missed the sun in the background and some waves that broke at unexpected moments, and Fernanda, because in any case the cold water was not made for those of us who live on an island so accustomed to the heat. Finally a few good photos came out, some of them you can see here, unedited yet, others will come out over time, there is a lot to tell!
Llegamos a tiempo a la costa! Justo en el momento y lugar indicados! Era un fin de semana bastante frío para las tardes caribeñas, con olas relativamente altas que saltaban el rompeolas de la porción de costa a donde fuimos a concluir nuestra maratónica secuencia de vestidos y fotos. Fernanda tiene un temple para el agua fría que yo no tengo, menos mal que era ella la que se tenía que mojar. Rápidamente puse mi flash externo con el contrapeso cerca de la muchacha y empecé a hacer indicaciones, hicimos varias fotos de cada pose. El flash a toda potencia ya demoraba en recargar 3 o 4 segundos que nos parecían eternos: a mi por perderme el sol en el fondo y algunas olas que rompían en momentos inesperados, y Fernanda, porque de todas formas el agua fría no se hizo para los que vivimos en una isla tan acostumbrada al calor. Finalmente salieron unas cuantas buenas fotos, algunas de ellas las pueden ver aquí, sin editar aún, otras más irán saliendo con el tiempo, hay mucho que contar!
