While running errands in the morning hours in the elevated sector of the city, I came across the Juan Bautista Arismendi square, on many occasions I have passed by this area but on the bus, I had seen the place but I did not know it was a square until I approached and saw the pedestal where at some point the statue of this prominent oriental hero rested, the square is located at a fork in Arismendi Avenue and is a meeting point for truck drivers and transporters who offer moving and transportation services in general, also for those who carry out procedures in this area of the city, because very close is the university, Saime, among other institutions, I walked to the center of the square and took pictures of some of its benches that have an attractive design, on the sides they are wavy, on the pedestal, which is a concrete rectangle you can read on a marble plaque located in the front, the name of Juan Bautista de Arismendi, the pedestal has as a base three concrete slabs placed in the shape pyramid, from the largest to the smallest, these have a circle as a base from which several concrete walkways branch out to lead to different points of the plaza.
Mientras hacía diligencias en horas matutinas por el sector El elevado de la ciudad, me encontré con la plaza Juan Bautista Arismendi, en muchas ocasiones he pasado por esta zona pero en el transporte, había visto el lugar pero no sabía que era una plaza hasta que me acerqué y vi el pedestal donde en algún momento reposó la estatua de este destacado prócer Oriental, la plaza se encuentra ubicada en una bifurcación de la avenida Arismendi y constituye un punto de encuentro para camioneros y transportistas que ofrecen servicio de mudanza y transporte en general, también para quienes realizan trámites en esta zona de la ciudad, pues muy cerca se ubica la universidad, el Saime, entre otras instituciones, caminé hasta el centro de la plaza y tomé fotos de algunos de sus bancos que tienen un atractivo diseño, en los lados son de forma ondulada, en el pedestal, que es un rectángulo de concreto se puede leer en una placa de mármol ubicada en la parte frontal, el nombre de Juan Bautista de Arismendi, el pedestal tiene como base tres losas de concreto colocadas en forma piramida, desde lamás grande hasta la más pequeña, estas asu vestienen como base un círculo desde el cual se desprenden varias caminerías de concreto para dirirse a los diferentes puntos de la plaza.
Around it there are several trees, bushes and a very large one that caught my attention, I took several photos to capture part of the trunk and the branches that extend several meters upwards, I was surprised that the tree does not have a single leaf, perhaps due to the dry season it has already lost its leaves 🍀🍂 but it looks imposing and stands out among the other trees located in the square, which is located in a very busy area where it converges with a stop that leads to the town of Mochima, in the morning hours you can see many people waiting for transportation to go to this beautiful destination in the Sucre municipality. There is also a kiosk where they sold newspapers and magazines and a friendly man who sells very cold coconut water, you drink the water directly from the coconut, with its respective straw.
Alrededor tiene varios árboles, arbustos y uno muy grande que llamó mi atención, le tomé varias fotos para capturar parte del tronco y las ramas que se extienden varios metros hacia arriba, me sorprendió que el árbol no tiene ni una hoja, tal vez debido a la temporada de sequía ya perdió sus hojas 🍀🍂 pero se ve imponente y resalta entre los otros árboles ubicados en la plaza, la cual se encuentra en una zona muy concurrida donde converge con una parada que lleva a la población de Mochima, en horas de la mañana el lugar se pueden observar muchas personas esperando el transporte el transporte para dirigirse a este hermoso destino del municipio Sucre también se encuentra un kiosco donde vendían periódicos revistas y un amable señor que vende agua de coco muy fría, te tomas el agua directamente del coco, con su respectivo pitillo.
The square has a large area where there are several bushes as well as benches and walkways to move to the different areas, during my tour I sat for a while in the square and observed the number of trees in the place, but my objective was focused on the large tree 🌲🌳 I could not understand why it had no leaves, only its branches completely uncovered, at first I thought that branches had leaves, but when I saw in detail they were the leaves and flowers of a tree that grows next to it, while I waited for the document of the diligence that took me to this part of the city, I took the opportunity to get to know the square, walk and after taking the photos, for several minutes I was sitting in this square resting and enjoying the morning breeze, although it was sunny, the trees cool the place.
La plaza cuenta con un amplio terreno donde se encuentran varios arbustos también los bancos y las caminerías para desplazarse hacia las diferentes áreas, durante mi recorrido me senté un rato en la plaza y observé la cantidad de árboles que hay en el lugar, pero mi objetivo se enfocó en el gran árbol 🌲🌳 no lograba entender por qué no tenía hojas, solo suss ramas totalmente descubiertas, al principio pensé que ramas tenía hojas, pero al ver detalladamente eran las hojas y flores de un árbol que crece al lado de él, mientras esperaba el documento de la diligencia que me llevó a esta parte de la ciudad, aproveché para conocer la plaza, caminar y luego de tomar las fotos, durante varios minutos estuve sentada en esta plaza descansando y disfrutando la brisa matutina, aunque había sol, los árboles refrescan el lugar.
